Cabin is on a working farm but not near the farm house.Stay would have been more comfortable with a foam mattress, rather than the spring mattress.A picnic table and/or small dining table inside the cabin would be more comfortable, however it is a small inside foot print.A small microwave would be useful.Quiet. "Large, roomy, clean, comfortable! The home is so large it was fun exploring and figuring out what each room was for! But it was one of the nicest rentals I've ever stayed in! Everything was super clean and comfortable. The host was very responsive! It was a great experience! Great for any sized group! "

"Great open house with places for adults to relax and kids to run around. We enjoyed the outdoors, watching some storms outside and playing some pickleball in the gym (though it does get hot in the gym)."

"Unique experience & location, photos on listing tell the story. Paved roads, driveway & parking graveled, no mud on rainy day. Excellent communication from the host. Perfect location for bicycle trips north & south on Standing Bear Trail. Sturdy tiny house cabin like camping in woods in a motor home with large deck. Generator for electricity, propane for heat, but running water & real flush toilet. Watch out for front door step, unusually tall, would not meet code in the city. Part of the rustic charm? Challenge for old couple in their 70s. Loft has minimal ceiling clearance, for kids or small, agile young adults only. Was not made up, bare mattress, linens stuffed in bags, appears little-used. Cooking can only be done on nice propane grill on deck. Three minute drive to Barneston, where historic Grand Avenue had a makeover into bar / convenience store, sandwiches & pizza every day. Recommended, look forward to next visit."
