Great View

The cabin was perfect for our family of 5. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Host was responsive. Views of Pigeon Forge were very pretty and we saw several bears including a momma and baby around the cabin.

Mothers Day Getaway

We absolutely love Laura’s cabin! This is our second time staying and it’s simply the best all around. Both times it has been super clean and has one of the best views! We will definitely be coming back!

Very Nice & Great Location !

As many others have said the view of Pigeon Forge is outstanding. This is especially true at night. Upon arrival you will find a very clean and well equipped cabin. Everything that you would possibly need is there for you to enjoy which we really appreciated. There was no need to bring much at all from our home in Michigan. Thanks for the great communication as well Laura and we would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay if visiting Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge!

We loved this cabin! It is centrally located between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, yet because it was up the mountain, we heard no noise from Pigeon Forge. We could relax, enjoy the hot tub and fire pit, and at night the view was stunning. Thank you so much for letting us use your cabin - it made for a great vacation!

The property was great, will stay again. Only issue was the wifi kept going out, tv remotes were confusing, possibly label and show what you receive. Two remotes were missing batteries. Main suite the fan only had one speed, did not see remote only switch on and off. Thanks for a great week. Kevin

Fantastic Getaway Spot

Our family of 6 (4 adults, 2 kids) + our German Shepherd, enjoyed a fabulous week-long stay at Papa Bear Cabin. This cabin is nestled in the mountains, just a short drive to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg & GSMNP. The cabin is nicely furnished with everything you need for your stay, and has plenty of space for everyone to enjoy their favorite way to relax - game room, deck with spectacular views & a hot tub, an indoor Jacuzzi tub, a fire pit, an indoor fireplace, lots of wildlife (bears!), and so much more! During our stay, we had several rain days including one bigger storm which caused a power outage. Our host, Laura, was very helpful & quick to respond and kept us updated on progress to restore power to our area! Overall, this was the perfect week of adventure & relaxation. I would highly recommend this property for a fantastic family getaway.

Amazing Cabin to Rent !!

Our family went for our son’s 20th Birthday! Cabin is very nice, clean and convenient to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg!! We plan on going back next year and hope this cabin is available again!!

The best place to stay when visiting The Smoky Mountains

This cabin was EXACTLY as the listing described. The view was beautiful, the house is lovely (and thoroughly cleaned), and the location is perfect for visiting Pigeon Forge, GSMNP, and Gatlinburg. Additionally, the host, Laura, is the most responsive host we've ever had. I loved the detailed information about the house and surrounding area. We had a fantastic visit! We saw bears (both near the cabin) and on the trail to Clingman's Dome. Our favorite spot of the house was the deck outside with the hot tub overlooking Pigeon Forge and the fire pit. My husband and son could be sitting near the fire, while my daughter and I were soaking in the hot tub. We had the absolute best time on this vacation and that was largely because of this rental. Thanks, Laura!

Beautiful Mountain Home

The view of Pigeon Forge is striking from this home near the top of an overlooking mountain. Inside the house is a home - well maintained, clean and very comfortable. We were able to find everything that we needed to prepare meals in the well appointed kitchen. The host is also an excellent communicato. The binder with instructions and suggestions was an invaluable guide. I strongly recommend this mountain home for anyone's trip to the Smokey Mountains and the towns of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

Enjoyed Our Stay!

My family of 4 and our golden retriever truly enjoyed our stay in Papa bear cabin! Everything was clean and comfortable. While we were there, there was some inclement weather. We stayed in the cabin that entire day and didn't Miss a beat! I would definitely stay here again!

A Perfect Family Trip

We thoroughly enjoyed "Papa Bear Cabin." The view of Pigeon Forge was amazing. We sat out at the bonfire overlooking the beautiful night lights of Pigeon Forge. The cabin was furnished nicely with many extras that made it feel like home. My grandsons enjoyed the snacks that were left there for us. The cabin was clean and well maintained. I look forward to staying here again!

Wonderful Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful visit. Up to date, clean, well stocked. Nice location between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Would definitely go back. Thanks for being flexible with our pets. They enjoyed the yard and played outside everyday.

Amazing stay

We would give this cabin a 10 star if possible! Amazing cabin with EVERYTHING you could possibly need. The cabin was very easy to get to, away from the crowd but close enough for easy access to everything. Cabin was clean, decorated so nice and so spacious. The view was beautiful And let’s talk about how nice and accommodating the host was. Thank you Laura we will definitely rent again

Family weekend

Absolutely wonderful!

Absolutely wonderful stay at PaPa Bear cabin!! Excellent communication from Laura. Cabin was so CLEAN- cleanest place we have ever stayed! View was amazing. Easy to check in and out. Plenty of room for us all. Great location for easy access to both P.F. and Gatlinburg. Laura really has thought of everything- we weren’t left needing anything! She even had roasting sticks to make s’mores, soft hot tub towels, and plenty of blankets and pillows. This cabin was the icing on the cake for my daughter’s senior trip. Highly recommend because it is certainly a hidden gem!

This cabin was exceptional, it has absolutely everything you would need and more, the view was spectacular, the cabin was very big and our family,3 adults and 2 children, were all able to have our own space if needed. We loved it and will stay there again.

Awesome location!

We spent a week in the Papa Bear cabin. The home was spacious and clean. The kitchen is very well equipped and had everything we needed for our dinners. There are a few things that aren’t mentioned in the listing that we really appreciated. 1. Lots of places in the super spacious upstairs BR for your stuff. The extra shelves in the bathroom and the huge walk-in closet offered plenty of options for our stuff. 2. The heated fan in the master bathroom was a huge plus. 3. I cannot say enough about the view. We sat on the back porch and in the hot tub every evening and enjoyed the view of downtown Pigeon Forge. 4. The location was amazing! We were about 7 miles from the NP entrance, and almost equally as close when we visited Dollywood. I loved that this house was away from the hustle and bustle but still convenient to everything. The hosts were helpful and quick to respond. I highly recommend this cabin!
