“Property location is ideal for a perfect beach vacation. Service was extremely slow. Seems as though there wasn’t enough staff to accommodate all the guests on a busy week. Our room had amazing oceanfront views, however, when booking it said it slept 4 people and it did not. There was only one king bed and no sofa bed avail. Had to order a Rollabed for my two kids that the hotel said would be $25 a night. They said it wasn’t their fault due to booking through a third party website. Kind of……

“The reason I gave low stars is because it’s so far out from everything which is fine but I went during winter months and everything at there resort was closed. No bar, no restaurant, why? Just because it’s winter doesn’t mean people stop eating and drinking. I went for work and only stayed 2 nights and it wasn’t a big deal but as I said it’s not exactly convenient to restaurants n such so I ended up ordering takeout. It was a very nice condo though. Perhaps it would be great in the summer ”

“Parking was private and super easy. Room 6 was large, spacious and very nicely accommodating. Shower was larger than expected with excellent water pressure. Location is near a very busy intersection with views of the water, the swing bridge, and lots of action but so worth it to be part of it all for downtown’s hustle and bustle of small town Beaufort, SC. Almost walking distance to everything. A great place to stay.”

“Our first time to Beaufort and we stayed at the City Loft Hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with friendly staff and convenient access to our room. The location is spot on if you want to walk the sites of downtown. We'll definitely make this a top stay for us next visit”

“The room was dirty, towels were grey, the microwave had a short in in, could not take a shower due to the nasty way it looked with dirt everywhere. Fridge was dirty and looked like mold was in it. Never again”

“Jocelyn at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately her cheery and helpful attitude was the only highlight. The breakfast situation was horrible. There was one, I repeat, ONE person taking breakfast orders, cooking, cleaning tables, replenishing (and keeping an eye on guests understanding that the continent breakfast wasn't included in a room stay) continental breakfast items and coffee. Unless there was some extreme situation, the hotel management should be ashamed. ……
