“First the positives. The room was large and clean. The bed was comfortable. Parking was fine. I think the problem that I had with Spark is that it's listed as a Hilton facility. This raises expectations. Honestly, it's more like what you would expect from a nice Super-8 than a Hilton. The carpet and furnishings are very bare-bones. The pool is tiny. Breakfast is nothing to write home about. With the exception of two of the staff, most of the staff were just barely cordial. The rooms……

“The continental breakfast was delicious - we loved the blueberry scones! The bikes were a great treat to explore the beautiful area. Val was exceptional.”

“The room was good for a night. However the ac unit in the room was very loud and was making strange noises. Had to get up a lot to adjust to try and stop the noise. And the light from the thermostat stayed on. We had to cover it up to try and get some sleep. Not really a complainer. But hoping it gets fixed for future customers.”

“Great location, close to a lot of attractions, restaurants and shopping. Staff was great throughout our whole stay, and the facility was clean. Room and bathroom were clean with plenty of supplies, they even provided wipes and sanitizer in room. Office provided fresh fruit, muffins, snacks, water and coffee throughout the day. The only thing we didn’t have use of was the pool. Air conditioning in room worked great all day which was a blessing because he was definitely hot and muggy outside. I……

“The check-in staff was helpful and quick. The room was large, clean, and updated. The grounds were well-kept, the pool area was small but well-organized, and the fitness center was one of the largest I’ve ever used in a hotel. The breakfast was good with many hot and cold options. My wife’s only complaint was that the coffee in the lobby wasn’t good. Would definitely stay here again if ever in the area again!”

“Grout in the bathroom was dirty and the shower head sucks lol but it’s an old hotel, so it was well kept for the price and age . Very cute”

“Daytime check in staff was less than helpful, and quite rude. The afternoon check in staff, Tiffany, was delightful. The waitress for breakfast was super sweet, and the breakfast buffet was adequate. We will definitely not be staying here again, just because of our experience with the day shift check in.”

“The location was great! Close to beach, restaurants and stores. The smell of strong mildew by the South Tower elevators was atrocious.”

“We cannot tell you how wonderful our experience was! The highlight had to be the concern of the owner and staff for our comfort. So appreciated. Related to the inn itself, everything was perfect! The location, the parking, the size and cleanliness of the room, the amenities, the furnishings, the bathroom, and the...(trumpets!!)... front porch, were all so pleasant! A very memorable stay!”
