The Space:
This refined apartment overlooks the inner courtyard of a historic building in the heart of Pisa.
Its location is exceptional: just a five-minute walk from the famous Piazza dei Miracoli, in a quiet Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL).
Just outside the city walls, you will find several parking options, both free and paid (€0.60 per hour) from 8:00 to 14:00.
Parking is free for the rest of the day.
The apartment is elegant, modern, and welcoming, and can accommodate up to 4 guests. Inside, you’ll find a spacious living room with a sofa bed and a fully equipped kitchen, a large bathroom with shower, and a bedroom with a comfortable double bed.
The Neighborhood:
The apartment is located in the Santa Maria district, one of the oldest and most historic areas of Pisa.
In the immediate surroundings, in addition to the famous Piazza dei Miracoli, you will find several cultural attractions such as the Botanical Garden and Museum, the Museum of Sinopias, the Museum of Computing Instruments, and the Museum of the Opera del Duomo.
Just a short walk away are prestigious academic institutions including the Scuola Normale Superiore, the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies, and several departments of the University of Pisa.
Traditional shops, cafés, Tuscan restaurants, and all essential services — bakery, newsstand, hairdresser — are easily reachable on foot.
Getting Around:
The apartment is easily accessible from Pisa Central Station (a 20-minute walk or less than 10 minutes by car/taxi).
Pisa Airport is about a 12-minute drive away.
The area is very quiet and falls within a Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL).
Just outside the city walls, you’ll find both free and paid parking options (around €0.60/hour from 8:00 to 14:00, free for the rest of the day).
Pisa is an ideal base for exploring Tuscany:
Towards the coast: the Versilia beaches, including Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi, and Marina di Pietrasanta; or the Livorno coastline with Castiglioncello and Quercianella (also reachable by train or bus).
For culture lovers: Lucca is about a 30-minute drive away, and Florence can be reached in roughly one hour.
For nature: the San Rossore Natural Park is a 15-minute drive or a pleasant bike ride away.
Within one hour you can also reach Garfagnana or Lerici, where ferries depart for Portovenere and the Cinque Terre.
