"Our family of 6 stayed in the "Luxury Villa on the beach" for 4 nights (Dec '25) and had a fantastic stay!! The villa is extremely comfortable, plenty of space to relax & unwind. Tharanga is an exceptional house manager, friendly and professional... provided great suggestions and advice throughout our stay. We were incredibly fortunate to enjoy beautiful food & hospitality from Tharanga and her team (Chandrika and Dissna)... delicious breakfasts and Sri Lankan food (thank you!!!). The villa is a short ride into Hikkaduwa for cafe's, beaches & activities. We were fortunate to spend New Year at a local beach restaurant (walking distance) ... a fantastic night, thanks Tharanga for that suggestion!! I would highly recommend Tharanga as an amazing host and Luxury Villa as a great place to stay and relax!!! "

"Our four-night stay at The Merenchi by Alexander-Kane was nothing short of exceptional. Located right next to the Radisson Blu at Gintota, the property enjoys a prime yet peaceful setting, just a short walk from a clean, quiet beach that feels almost private due to the lack of crowds. We were privileged to be the very first guests and stayed in the Terrace Suite, which offered exclusive access to a private terrace with dual views—one overlooking a serene garden and the other opening toward the beach. The property exudes a refined, calming vibe, with top-quality finishes throughout. The rooms are spacious, beautifully lit, and filled with natural sunlight during the day. At night, leaving the doors open lets you drift off to the soothing sound of ocean waves. The grand lobby, elegant dining area, cosy couches, and a lovely indoor guest-only pool elevate the overall experience. The food deserves special mention—freshly cooked, organic, and absolutely delicious. Hosts Sanjeeva and Asanka were warm, attentive, and made us feel truly at home. With Galle Fort just 10 minutes away and Unawatuna Beach 15 minutes away, the location is ideal. "We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Golden. We were 2 adults, 3 children so had plenty of space! Susantha & his team were the best hosts. We had a delicious breakfast every morning of fruit, yogurt, smoothies, eggs, omelettes, waffles & hoppers. We also had 2 meals in the villa cooked by the house girls which were delicious, would highly recommend. The garden area is beautiful, right onto the beach. It’s a great location, only a 15 minute tuk tuk into Galle. The restaurants along the beach by the villa are well worth trying out. We highly recommend this villa to anyone staying in this part of Sri Lanka! Thank you for a great stay! "
