"We throughly enjoyed our stay at Sunset Hill.Our stay was during the winter. We loved the fireplace for evening fires. It was so cozy and comfortable. The outdoor space, the screened porch as well as the open porch and fire pit area, would make for a wonderful summer getaway.The host has the guest first and foremost in mind, paying close attention to all your needs. The cottage was clean and ready for guests. We highly recommend a stay at sunset Hill."

"We had such a great time. It was such a cute little place and pictures on VRBO didn’t even do close to justice. It was so perfect for just the two of us and it was so cozy. We did have a little bit of issues with the water, but it was just due to a breaker flipping which maintenance did come in less than 10 minutes after messaging someone about it. We will definitely be back the details of this place are just impeccable and if you know anything about the Lord of the rings or The Hobbit, everything is spot on."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The property was clean, nicely decorated, cozy, and wonderfully secluded—which was a huge plus for us. It truly felt like the perfect place to unplug and reset.The roads leading to the cabin are gravel and quite steep, so a four-wheel drive is necessary. Thankfully, the host informed us ahead of time, which allowed us to adjust our plans and bring our truck instead—very much appreciated.Unfortunately, the fireplace didn’t work during our stay, but the host was accommodating and allowed us to raise the thermostat to a comfortable temperature, which helped a lot. The Wi-Fi was a bit spotty, but that’s to be expected for an secluded cabin in the woods. It ended up being more of a mild inconvenience than a problem and didn’t take away from our experience.Overall, we would absolutely recommend this cabin if you’re looking to get away from everything and truly relax. It was the perfect place for a reset, and we hope others enjoy it as much as we did."

"The hosts were responsive however both houses need some upkeep. The very first day the hot water heater needed repair, the house keepers did not do a good job at all. Half of the beds were not made, there was literal poop under the kitchen table and a pair of underwear under one of the beds. Not the owners fault so we did make them aware. The location was great and the space for our whole family was nice. The list of amenities in the house could have been a bit more complete then I would have been able to bring a few less things. The Internet in the one house was spotty at best. We kept having to go back and forth between the houses because some items were only in one of the houses, a hand mixer and scissors as examples. It was a great location for our family reunion just think the houses could use a bit more tlc."
