We just got home from a very nice week at the Royal Haciendas! The resort was even nicer than we expected. We had a suite room and it was perfect to have the separate room with 2 single beds for the 2 kids. The food was good and nobody got sick from any of the food which was great. There was a lot of staff always there to help with anything we needed. It was free to use life jackets, pool noodles, snorkeling gear etc. which was a nice touch. The resort isn't too big which was nice with young kids as you didn't have to walk too far to get anywhere. The only con is the ocean is blocked off by sand bags which were a bit of an eyesore. Overall we really loved this resort and would highly recommend it!

It was a great experience for My family. A resort that's makes total sense with younger kids. The week picked was great because it wasn't that full. We had lots of fun, shout out to the Kids Club and the staff, also to Cipriano a great security guard going above and beyond to help. A small note, the beach is smaller than in the hotel area, that being said, it depends if your aim is less beach and more ocean/pool. The variety of food and quality is also great.

The family suite was a great room for a stay with children. The murphy beds were comfortable enough for the kids and the king bed was great for the parents. The staff were great, juan the server at Los Moreales was great offering the best service we experienced. Geo and Danna at the kids club became quick staples to the kids trip always offering some diverse activities when a break was needed from the pool and beach. The staff was always welcoming and never felt pushy or rude. They were genuinely interested in making our stay enjoyable. The food was great, especially the restaurants with reservations, the buffet was solid and themed every night... all around a fantastic resort. Highly recommend it, will be back!

My family vacationed here and had a great time. Plenty of things to do for kids and the food was excellent. Both Los Murales and Kinoko were great dining experiences. I’d like to call out Raul at the Sol Grill for great service he provided.

The rooms were always clean and housekeeping was good, not great. We tipped $100 pesos every day for housekeeping and there was nothing special but just really clean. The pool and beach servers were always on the ball and friendly and never felt like we waited. The bartenders were very friendly both at the pool bars and the lobby bar. All around great staff. Special thanks to Saul at La Palapas for reading my mind and bringing me a plate of bacon. It was like magic. Also praise to Moises, Jesus, and last but not least the Kinoko host Francisco. The food was delicious at Las Murales steakhouse. I had the wagyu ribeye and it was the best steak I’ve ever had in Mexico and I’m from Alberta, the steak capital of the world. Kinoko Japanese was excellent especially the Teppanyaki experience with the chef. Omelettes were the breakfast peak and the bacon was always crispy. Lattes were good as well and was quick. Overall I’ve been to almost a couple dozen resorts over the years from 4 star to 4 diamonds and this one was pretty epic considering the property itself was older (2006 I think?) and the beach was no bueno. The cleanliness, staff and the food made up for the few shortcomings. Would come again.

We had a wonderful experience. It was unfortunate that beach was in the condition that it was. But the staff was awesome. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Buffet was mediocre but the restaurant, room service and pool restaurants were very good. Would recommend!

Room was outstanding, food was high quality and varied, and the staff were great. I enjoyed to low-key vibe, great service, and effort to provide a slightly upscale experience. My only issue was the terrible beach. It’s completely eroded and covered in seaweed. If you’re looking to spend time on the sand and in the ocean, look elsewhere. It’s a shame because otherwise this place was great.

The room was good and clean. The buffet restaurant where you had to eat breakfast everyday was awful and disgusting. The food was so bad we’d get a cab to town and eat at a restaurant. The hostess and the manager at the steak and seafood restaurant were arrogant and ignorant and would never work with you to make a reservation. The answer was always “NO” The teppanyaki sushi restaurant was quite good with great staff. The pizza restaurant was decent a the Mexican restaurant was wasn’t good at all. They need to step up their food as of right now it was very mediocre at best. Their computers and pay machines at the front desk won’t accept Canadian credit cards it debt cards and it’s an ongoing issue according to front desk staff but yet nothing gets done about it. And the beach has been washed away compared to the pictures on their website.
