“Excellent hotel”

“There is so much to be impressed by at this hotel. When walking through the main entrance you are surrounded by Spanish culture. The breakfast has everything you would expect in a big hotel croissants, coffee, cereal, cheeses and meat etc. but in a beautiful Spanish room. There is a sitting room with piano, a small library with table. The room had lots of beautiful furnishings. The balcony had table and two chairs. Everything in the Expedia photos is what you will see.”

“Lovely bedroom, clean and comfortable, decent breakfast (continental mainly) and gorgeous setting. Well placed for local walks, location pretty insignificant and no facilities at hotel to relax or sit outside when weather tricky, which was most days because we encountered bad weather. If you are happy walking every day in any kind of weather this is for you. ”

“Man sollte hier insgesamt keine zu hohen Erwartungen haben. Pro: Die Aussicht. Wirklich beeindruckend. Wer ein Zimmer mit Meerblick bucht, macht alles richtig. Dafür lohnt es sich definitiv. Es gab eine eigene kleine Küche, was sehr praktisch war. Der Zimmerservice war gut: täglich frische Handtücher und eine gründliche Reinigung der Zimmer. Contra: Die Parkplatzsituation ist schwierig. Es war fast nie ein Parkplatz zu finden und wenn doch, waren diese sehr eng. Am besten parkt man gegenüber……

“We were upgraded to an Ocean View Suite and it was superb. The views were amazing. It was my birthday while there and we came back to our room to find a balloon, Cava and chocolate, it was a lovely surprise. Every single member of staff was friendly and helpful. We often stay in Puerto de la Cruz but until now have never found accommodation we were happy with. Now we have and we will definitely stay again. Small but important thing… the balcony door did not have a handle outside. The door had……

“Room had no windows to the outside just internal windows viewing the corridor and into an air duct which could be noisy. I did request information from the hotel regarding this when it was brought to my attention however they never answered my query. Beautiful views couldn't be enjoyed. The staff I came into contact with were all very nice.”

“There is very little parking on site . As the police department takes most of the spots. You should make a 2 or 3 story parking area in the triangle area of your property since it only grows weeds. First night ended when street construction began at 8 am under my balcony which we weren’t notified prior. Continental Breakfast was large but most guests were stuck looking to make sure the food was cooked enough to eat. The hotel Building was clean . my room was clean. We left early due to weather ”
