“Absolut empfehlenswert! Wir haben zwei Tage hier verbracht und wurden überaus herzlich empfangen. Auch bei der Buchung von Ausflügen etc. wurde uns sehr geholfen. Das Hotel bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang. Gleich am Anreisetag wurden wir von einem Tukan und Affen in den Bäumen begrüßt. Das Essen ist ebenfalls fantastisch. Der Koch bereitet alle Gerichte mit so viel Liebe und Hingabe zu. Es war mit das beste Essen und Hotel, das wir in Costa Rica hatten. Ich komme auf……

“Juan and Ana made us feel so welcome to their tropical oasis in the jungle. Now if you are looking for a place with A/C and giant TVs this is not for you. If you want to sleep immersed in the sounds of jungle, with a steam running along the property, this is the place! We have traveled the whole of Costa Rica now; this is our favorite place so far! We stayed here 3 nights of our last leg of a 14 days trip, we relaxed in the pool, amazing beautiful beaches near by, playa hermosa was my favorite,……

Located in a beautiful rainforest setting, our room was clean, modern and comfortable and overlooked a lovely swimming pool which we used daily during our stay. “Canavida has got to be the best place to stay in Uvita. Staying here included an exceptional view from the condos, a very clean room and the most accommodating and kind owners. It is clear that the owners love taking care of their customers and accommodation. We asked for a second mattress as we found the sofa bed uncomfortable and they personally delivered a second mattress to our room. “ We stayed at Ballena Rey Hotel from December 14–18 in Unit 9 while traveling from Canada to do some scuba diving in Uvita, and we had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. Housekeeping came every day to clean the room and provide fresh towels, which we really appreciated after long days of diving.
