“Nice location away (but not too far away) from Bocas Town. Owners were very friendly and accommodating with water taxis. A member of our family, who is celiac, had no issues. Beware of the little biting flies - they are everywhere in this area.”

“What a gorgeous beach! This was a magical place with the friendliest staff, a great restaurant, and beautiful accommodations. I chose the Jungalow room because I wanted to be immersed in nature. The structure was rustic, but it was so cool hearing all the jungle noises while I slept. The shower was also big and open to the jungle, which was really cool. “Once again a delightful place to stay. Breakfast made to order is a wonderful treat. The library available with extensive travel guides and novels is great. I love swinging in the second floor balcony reading in the hammock while I hear the ocean waves. Very nice!”

While I typically opt for all-inclusive resorts when I travel, this time I wanted to try something different, and Nowhere certainly delivered. The setting offered a secluded, off-the-grid atmosphere that was perfect for relaxing, yet it was conveniently just a short 7-10 minute drive from town. One……

“My husband and I recently stayed at Aqui Hoy for 4 nights and while it was a bit isolated, it was a relaxing and peaceful location. We had the place to ourselves, so that was lovely, but I do think that having neighbours in the adjoining cabin would have impacted on our privacy, had there been someone in the room beside us. Katy and Marcel were welcoming and friendly. It was an added bonus to have a restaurant on site. The food was wholesome and reasonably priced. As were the local beer……
