"What REALLY stood out was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Yale, in particular went out of her way to ensure a great stay. The room was very clean, but for older or disabled folks, caution there are stairs, but there may be rooms on the ground floor."

"The hotel has Amazing views of the surrounding hills & city . It is just 10 mins walk into the historical town downhill . We got very in expensive taxi back up the hill ! The restaurant is excellent serving local dishes and breakfast superb. However the best part of the stay was definitely the personnel . All staff were courteous & very helpful, however David on front desk was simply outstanding and could not have been more helpful- arranging /recommending tours ,visits and restaurants . I would highly recommend this charming small hotel . "

"Great location-just 1 block north of Plaza Grande (as hotels.com says but contrary to what Google maps say as of today: and you'll need to tell cabs/ubers/...). My room was quite quiet despite of being right downtown. The people running the hotel are very friendly and helpful. I'd certainly stay at Casa Colonial again."
