Beautiful hotel set on the edge of the Main Street in Plettenberg with amazing views of Look Out Beach. Hotel clean and beautifully presented and the room had a luxurious four poster bed. Good food choices at breakfast and a lovely evening meal. Staff could not of done more for us. Very friendly and informative on places to visit. Very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

A great hotel in a great location. We stayed in No.7 Casa Azure and the view was spectacular. The restaurant is quality too.

Suite Nr6: Beatiful view on the beach and see. Comfortable big king size bed and everything you need for a few nights. In house there is a restaurant, rooftop bar and a small pool. Hotel is directly located on the mainstreet, 5min by foot to the beach. We will come back the next time.

A great hotel, where staff worked well as a team to make us feel welcome and ensure we were comfortable during our stay. The hotel is in a lovely setting, on the main road but at one end, so that you are close to everything, but at the same time, feel like you are tucked into a quiet corner of the town when you are ready to wind down. The restaurant was fantastic and the decor was so lovely. Great job, team Ivory Haus! I recommend this hotel!

We initially only booked one nights stay but upon opening the door to number 6, we knew we had to book another night. The room had the most amazing views over the bay and the lagoon out to the mountains. The bedding was superb and the turn down service was unexpected and a delight to return to. Room 6 was 🔥 The hotel bar and rooftop terrace were spacious, and comfortable with the same great views out room offered. The staff were great and on hand to answer any questions and attend to every need. We ate breakfast and lunch at the hotel and the highlights were the chocolate pistachio croissant and the pulled chicken nachos 😍

Boutique style vibey Plett hotel

My stay at the Ivory Haus was exceptional. From the moment I walked in I was warmly greeted by the hotel manager who was extremely helpful,attentive and friendly with whatever request I may have had…The extra personal touch went a long way….and I valued that…. Hospitality is on point… The food is exceptional I ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel…what stood out for me is the variety of options that one had to choose from…unlike other commercial hotels where meals and breakfast are standard. Lastly the hotel rooms were beautifully decorated and the hotel itself has a Cuban/Greek vibe and decor to it…Room 6 with the high comfy beds…Victorian bath with views overlooking the beach was amazing. The rooftop bar also has sweeping views of the beach and there is always a vibe…. It’s trendy and an ideal destination for a solo young traveller whose looking for comfort and a vibe….will highly recommend this hotel.

Newly refurbished property in good condition with fabulous views across Plettenberg Bay from the restaurant and rooftop bar. Staff were friendly but on the busy weekend we were here, the service was very slow. The room was nicely appointed but noisy from the restaurant and rooftop bar. Music was started at 800am and was loud and clear in the bedroom. Rather quirkily, the toilet had a Yale lock but no key so we were locked out of our own bathroom for some time. The room may not be suitable for the elderly as there are lots of stairs, the beds are high enough to require a stool to climb onto them and, it's worth noting, the beds are very firm.

I travel a lot and stay in a lot of nice hotels. Ivory Haus, it is the only hotel that I thought cared about me and the only hotel I have actively like. I cannot recommend it more highly.

Es war von A-Z alles sehr gut. Das Zimmer war sehr schön mit einem unglaublichen Badezimmer. Die Mitarbeitenden waren in jedem Bereich sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich und zeigten Freude an der Arbeit. Das Abendessen im eigenen Restaurant war sehr gut, auch da die Bedienung top. Der Begriff Boutique Hotel trifft zu. Die Bauart des Hotels bedingt immer wieder Treppen zu steigen. Kein Problem an sich, sollte man aber wissen

Bei der Buchung wurde nicht erwähnt, dass sich direkt neben dem Hotel derzeit eine große Baustelle befindet. Diese wird offenbar noch mehrere Monate andauern und führt zu erheblichen Einschränkungen, insbesondere im Pool- und Restaurantbereich. Enttäuschend ist, dass weder das Hotel noch Ebookers im Vorfeld darauf hingewiesen haben. Auch die Angaben zur Parkplatzsituation sind irreführend: Laut Beschreibung sollten Parkplätze vorhanden sein, tatsächlich gibt es jedoch keine. Gäste müssen auf der Straße parken, was wenig sicher wirkt. Positiv hervorzuheben ist das Frühstück, das qualitativ überzeugt. Allerdings ist lediglich das erste Getränk inkludiert – ein weiterer Kaffee oder Saft wird extra berechnet, was in dieser Hotelkategorie eher unüblich ist. Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt enttäuschend, da wesentliche Informationen vorab nicht klar kommuniziert wurden.
