“Great little place for visiting Lassen Volcanic. It's a small house but perfect for the three of us and like having an extra large hotel suite. We liked the reclining loveseat. The town of Chester has some nice restaurants and a great grocery store. The loft is really better for kids or young adults. Doubtful an older couple would manage it well. Queen bed downstairs was quite comfy. (We never used the bunkbeds. But if you have 2-3 kids, this place works well.)”

“Great location”

“Thanks for a wonderful stay at a great property!!”

“This is hands down our favorite property to stay at when we visit Almanor. The owners are amazing and attentive, and the cabin and location are fantastic. We come year after year and it only gets better!”

“Great gathering spot for family!”

“I gifted this to my adult children and grandkids. Though I didn’t stay there, my kids had nothing but great things to say about their stay. They loved that the house was in a nice quiet neighborhood. We received easy instructions for entering. There was a river nearby and they could walk to town. There were biking trails for those that wanted to ride and hiking nearby.”

“Wonderful home. Everything was so clean. The hosts are great about communicating with you right away. We went for a wedding and needed early check-in, they notified us when the cleaners were ready for us to check-in. They have an adorable hidden gem in a little bunk house on the property. Great home for a large group. We had 8 stay comfortably. Thank you Gre and Alaine.”

“House was great. We did a golf trip and the location was perfectly between the courses we played. Hot tub was great after 36 holes.”
