“Great room and hotel - extremely clean! Only two downsides was no aircon and not having a cooked breakfast ”

“This was perfect for me visiting family in Ashburton. It was easy to find and park. The staff were lovely and helpful when I checked in. It helped take the stress out of the logistics. They were also very accommodating when I had to change the dates initially. ”

“The location was excellent, loads of history, the development of the site and apartment are to a high standard and there are plenty of good restaurants. “Overall experience is nice. We stayed in room 5 for 3 nights. It would be feel better if the walls refurbish, replace the old boiler and unusable cooking pan and pot. Also, the exhaust fan In the bathroom should be clean regularly. All the staffs are very nice and helpful.”

“As previous reviews had mentioned, the outside of the property left a little to be desired but once through the door we were suitably impressed. Room was very comfortable and secure plus it was a bonus to have the use of the kitchen and facilities, all of which were spotless. Communications from the owner were spot on throughout so really couldn't fault our stay. We took a wrong turning to find the car park but ended up stumbling on off-road parking just a street away where the restriction……

“Pros: - The host is very lovely, attentive and makes you feel at home, - nice home cooked breakfast with classic english, vegetarian, continental options, - located close to main Plymouth attractions, - room is good size and well equipped with functional furniture (hangers chairs, bed side lights) and consumables (tea station, bathroom consumables, even cotton buds) - clean. Cons: - the property walls, ceiling, furniture, soft furnishings, bathroom white goods are clean but dated (cca 90s),……
