Beautiful and Relaxing

I wanted to take my husband to a cabin in the mountains for his birthday. However; we’ve never been to the mountains before, or in a cabin….hehe! So, I had ALL of these specific ideas in my mind of what a cabin experience should be (it had to feel like a cabin, surrounded by mature trees, a water stream close by to hear the water flow, a hot tub, quiet, and private). MAPLEWOOD LODGE completely delivered!!! It’s so beautiful and looks JUST like the pictures!! The Owner Ricky is wonderful!! He took the time to chat with me prior to my trip, and answered questions. He has a list of suggested activities and things to do in the area, and he’s truly just the nicest guy. It was SO WORTH the money and we look forward to going AGAIN!

What a Nice Getaway House!

I made a quick decision to request booking on a Tuesday for Friday. Ricky was so great about everything! The house has a kitchen with everything you need, and the loft bed was super comfortable. The large deck is great to enjoy the outdoors and we even cooked over the firepit and used the fireplace and hot tub. Every question was answered with the online and in person booklets about the house. There are a number of restaurants close by, and groceries and Walmart not a far drive. Thanks for a great stay!
