Richmond Point of Rocks Park Hotels

"The Jefferson Hotel is hands down our favorite. We drove 3-1/2 hours each way to celebrate our anniversary there. Of course the two shows we took in and the excellent restaurants in town as well as museums make it worth the trip. But the on-site parking and complementary shuttle service to theaters are a nice touch. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful. We stay at the Jefferson a couple of times a year. This morning as we were departing the concierge came out from behind her desk to give my wife a big hug. She asked how our grands are doing and gave us a couple of waters for the road."

"Our visit started with a 45 min check in process, which involved the front desk clerk having to go check our room to see if it was ready. She also had to do this with the couple in front of us. I had lots of questions, as to why she was having to go personally check, and what was she doing. She was gone for almost 15 mins checking our room, which made we wonder if she was half way cleaning a dirty room. This hotel supposedly had been remodeled recently, and I can tell this was basically a little makeup on a old girl. The carpet was very muddy and dirty. I suspect this is from the hard working crew that is building the casino across the street. The bed and the liens were comfortable and clean. Although I still wish hotels actually gave you a blanket and not two sheets covering something else that looks like a another sheet. Parking and access is convient at a light and highway. The breakfast was extremely basic, nothing too wow. Some dry cereal, scoop yogurt, oatmeal packets, a few bagels to toast, the standard waffle. There was so eggs but they weren't looking to yummy. No fruit to seen. The elevator was loud and acted strange when it would take off. It definitely made me think twice about using it. Overall I think I'll pass on this location in the future, and look for something a little further out, even though it's convenient to the casino."

"Everything was great! The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and had very comfortable beds, and it was conveniently close to the town square!"

"Hotel could use some updating. Paint chipped, furniture was chipped also, bathtub was stained and worn. Not appealing. Breakfast was fantastic and the pool and hot tub we loved. Front desk clerk was not welcoming and no one was at the breakfast to help with more plasticware. "

"The room was very clean which was wonderful. That being said, the hallways had a number of spills that weren’t cleaned up. Additionally, the “accessible tub” had no bench. "

"The tub was in need of repair. Looks like they started but didn't finish. Other than that it was perfect. Will return again."

"Room was very nice and clean, staff was very friendly and accommodating! Seems to be the norm these days though that all most properties, there is never an ice machine in working order! Continental breakfast was good!"
