「I wish I did a little more research before booking. This lodge used to be a hostel and still seems more like a hostel than lodge. It would be perfect if I wasn’t traveling with a toddler who wants to get into everything. Location is about a five minute drive from the beach. We saw a ton of deer. It’s a little ways to the shipwreck and lighthouse. Great for trail access.
Overall, if you’re traveling with small children or folks who overheat easily, maybe not the best place. If you need a base...

「Moder, clean rooms w/jacuzzi tub and private outdoor deck.
In floor heating; no noisy AC unit.
Nice grounds to walk with our dog (pet friendly).
Host provided outside movie and got a fire going.
Hot breakfast (scrambled & sausage) plus good fruit, cottage cheese, yoghurt with usual coffee and selection of teas.
Friendly staff who want to help.
Property is well off the road and so peaceful. Restaurants are 5-8 mins away but parking is challenging as these are popular.」
