「I have regularly stayed at Hampton Inns and those have been good overall, so will chalk this one to a one off. We had someone enter our room without authorization the first night we were there. Explanation from the manager, Brian, was that the room was not supposed to be given to a guest and that front desk "forgot" and put us in the room. The rationale given was that the room was deep cleaned and saved for someone with feather allergies, though it was clear that the all the bedding in the room...
