This property is very old, it has great charm however it is outdated. The staff were very friendly however the resort needs updating badly. We have stayed here many years ago and decided to stay again dur to it's charm and location with wonderful views of the fall foliage. The resort has a full-length golf course that is challenging but also needs more attention. If you stay expect what you get.

This historic property with 30+ buildings covering 500+ acres is a lovely setting year round. Rooms have some age on them but are comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Buffet breakfast was good. On a clear day New Hampshire’s White Mountains are visible from the Inn and golf course. The museum is amazing. There was walking trails, pickleball and tennis courts,…we stayed there twice on our trip. The first time, we picked up friends at the airport in Portland, spent the night here, then headed to the White Mountains of NH in the morning. Later on our foliage journey, we spent two more nights and did day trips from here. (Including the nearby Shaker Collage Fall Festival).

Great experience: but the rooms were extremely dated and the is should be considered a no frills hotel. The grounds are great, free breakfast which was actually delicious, and a lively lobby area. Loved it but the room was like glamping.

The room had an odor and the grade of toilet paper was so bad I bought my own. Towels were old and rough. Showering was difficult as the water temperature fluctuated several times. The price was a little high compared to other motels in the area that had better accommodations and very good free breakfasts.The lawn area was covered with cigarette buts and I would say a chicken bone.

My stay there was comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I was surprised that there was no elevator, as I had difficulty carrying my bags upstairs. Since food was available only at the main building, it would be convenient if your facility also offered sandwiches and soups.

A lovely experience. The staff was gracious, helpful and accommodating. Gorgeous views of the mountains! The rooms are clean and very comfortable but slightly dated. The golf course is designed by Donald Ross. It was a history lesson and a place to stay and in one, WE learned quite a bit about how Poland Spring water began. We will be going back again.

Great throwback experience! Loved the self-service amenities and convenience of the onsite restaurant, mini golf, huge pool, views, etc! Great brewery and breakfast spot with fancy wine, beer, and groceries down the road. Refrigerator in the room, ice machine, game room. Bring quarters for pool and foosball. Will be back next summer to explore the museums.

There was an event going on and it ended at an appropriate time. I had no problem falling a sleep I didn’t hear any loud music. We always enjoy staying at Poland Springs Resort. We will be back!
