Ponce De Leon Hotel with Pool

"The room is not clean well and the bath handle is broken so difficult to open the water. The window is foggy can’t see outside and outdated. I never see the hotel like that before this is my first time to see that."

"The hotel was okay but the property looked older, like renovations or upgrading to the building or rooms hadn't happened much since the 90s, the beds and the furniture had been upgraded, and admittedly the bed was comfortable, but the TV was limited and didn't function well. Honestly, it was giving extended stay motel but the few patrons we talked to were very very friendly. We didn't interact with a single staff member the entire time we were there besides when I checked in but that wasn't a turn off for us. The beach access was awesome and the pool was alright. The floaties were a nice touch for my daughter. I just wish there was a ramp access to the beach for a wagon or stroller. Overall, not s horrible "

"My wife and I stay there once a quarter as we go there to Destin for her to see a doctor every three months. They are very kind and helpful The only critique I could make is at the breakfast they had bacon that looked like it had not hit the skillet more than five seconds so it wasn’t crisp other than that the food was fine Just some small maintenance items in one of the bedrooms was the toilet needed to be adjusted to flush, and the shower spout was loose from the wall I guess I’m bringing up items that I deal with rental property that I own"

"Amazing beach views but thats all the room had damage all over and everything was outdated. The sheets were dingy no hot water for showers and no supplies in the room to cook. Enjoyed the easy beach access. But very disappointed in our stay. The staff said they would send someone each time but Noone ever showed after we called 4 times and went to the office twice.. I feel like I wasted my money. Too expensive for poor service. I will never stay here again..."

"I had a mixed experience staying at SeaHaven Beach Hotel. The standout highlight was definitely the staff—they were incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely made an effort to ensure a pleasant stay. Customer service like that goes a long way and didn’t go unnoticed. The location is hard to beat. It’s perfectly situated right on the beach, and the views are absolutely stunning. Waking up to the ocean and being steps away from the sand is a huge plus and really elevates the overall experience. That said, the hotel itself is clearly showing its age. While there have been attempts at repairs, many areas feel outdated and not well-maintained. It seems like more patchwork fixes than true upkeep, and the property would really benefit from a full renovation. The worn appearance and aging infrastructure take away from what could otherwise be an exceptional stay. Overall, this hotel has great potential thanks to its amazing staff and unbeatable location, but it needs significant updating and remodeling to truly match those strengths. Also, this is not on the hotel at all, but the constant smell of marijuana coming from my next door room was obnoxious and bothered my entire family."

"Hear me out…this place is AMAZING. I wanted a room right on the beach as I was looking I decided to splurged the extra money and rented the penthouse…giggles Just me and the whole suite to myself. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! The view, the tub, the giant bed. For the first time ever I truly felt like a princess. I couldn’t stop smiling. Thank you so much for the amazing time. Already rented the penthouse for my birthday!!! See yall soon! I miss y’all bunches……ten out of ten recommend"
