"Beautiful and cozy! This well-located cabin has all the necessities and is tucked into the trees away from the road. Nice sized TV that is viewable from the deck and a good size grill. We had a wonderful stay!"

"We had a wonderful vacation. The house is beautiful and comfortable and has everything you need in the kitchen to cook any meal you want, including an assortment of spices! We cooked Thanksgiving in July, and even had a big turkey platter! And I canāt say enough about the view. We would sit out on the deck and gaze at the ever changing colors and patterns on the cliffs across the valley every chance we got. There is so much to do and see in the area, too. If you like rugged, beautiful scenery, hot springs, and history, you will be very happy here. Rockhounds and birdwatchers will be delighted, too! The location is beautiful, quiet, and peaceful, and the house was obviously built with love and you can feel it."

"The property and location was an amazing, although a little difficult to get to. We have a Subaru, so the long uneven dirt road was no problem for us, but I could see some vehicles having more of an issue. Our host was very responsive. The fact that there is no air conditioning should be more prominent when looking to book. I missed it initially when I booked the property. And while it was honestly not too bad even for mid July, it was pretty warm upstairs. Down stairs was much better. The property only has several small fans that provide very little air circulation. Since we drove and knew there would be no AC (we have stayed in the Jemez area before), we brought our own small but powerful floor fan which provided much needed air circulation and made sleeping at night much more bearable. It does eventually cool down overnight and with the windows open & the fan going it was good. No wifi/spotty cell service so also keep that in mind. We did a bit of hiking around the property which was lovely. And Jemez Springs is not too far with some great hikes as well. We love the area. Great place to disconnect. Overall we had a wonderful time and again the property was beautiful and the amenities were great. The kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed. But again, bigger better fans should be provided in the summer for a desert property with no air conditioning. If you are driving and have some nice powerful fans, bring them with you!! They definitely help!"

"Was a great getaway. Forced my son off his phone and we were able to spend real quality time together. Special waters are not far from Fenton lake at the hatchery drive ALL the way back and hike in. Very very cool area."
