「Spotless, very comfortable room, lovely sunny terrace and a comfortable sitting room full of books, plants, interesting pictures and antiques. The staff are so welcoming, friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was superb, the best we had in Madeira. Levada walks nearby and short walk to a couple of good restaurants. Highly recommended 」

「The hotel is fairly high up the hillside, so the drive up is exciting! The hotel itself is amazing. We had a great corner room and balcony with amazing sea and valley views. The staff were very friendly. The only downside was the restaurant was only open for breakfast during our stay, so dinners had to be elsewhere. 」

The room was absolutely clean, comfortable, spacious, and again very well furnished and decorated. Starting from the greetings for my birthday with chocolates and a bottle of sparkling wine, ending with dinners and amazing ocean view that is there from the terrace. The hotel is located among the banana plantations on the hill, and feels peaceful and calm. Staff is friendly and attentive, helped us with local recommendations.
