“The room was in perfect condition. The garden is absolutely beautiful, I spent a lot of time there even though I was only there for one night. The staff is great, they took pictures of my friend and I for us and had snorkeling gear ready to take, but we didn’t need it. We got a free welcome drink which was considerate. There were two cats roaming around outside that were so sweet!”

“Free breakfast was not included. Ate at passions on the beach, which was excellent. Wi-Fi was intermittent and it kept dropping on us. Went to beach at 6 AM in the dark and all front row of the beach cabanas were taken. ”

“I booked the pool view room, and they gave me a room that wasn't the pool view without telling me. Then I went to the front desk to change room, it took them about half hour to change room for me. But the air conditioner in the new room was so noisy that I couldn’t open it. The hygiene of the room was very poor, and there were some yellow stains on the towels and quilt”

“Rooms were very clean. Staff at the Barcelo are exceptionally nice. The Royal restaurant on the 9th floor is definitely the best, especially their manger George. George is as professional as they come. Super nice, quick witted, and very particular in how he presents himself, and his dinner service is 2nd to NONE!….Nice job George. See you next year!”
