I was trying to go to sleep when 2 drunk guys in the room next to me started arguing and hitting things. The phone in my room did not work and the WiFi did not reach my room so I had no way to call for help. The men were screaming and arguing for an hour while I packed my stuff in the dark as I was so scared. The police finally arrived so I went to the lobby but the receptionist said there were no other rooms available in the hotel. The police did not kick the men out of the hotel and I did not feel comfortable staying there. The receptionist was a jerk and would not help me find another hotel as I think he was scared about losing his job. I called Orbitz and the representative was very helpful as always. She called the hotel and then helped me locate one which had rooms. I took an Uber and stayed in another hotel where I felt safe so I really appreciate Orbitz. However, Orbitz should not advertise this hotel anymore as I don’t know if I will receive my money back. Thanks Orbitz for always having great customer service available.

Everything went well except for checkout- they wanted to charge me over 25% more for taxes, when no one ever mentioned taxes not being included in the reservation price. Both the website and the hotel need to be clear about this BEFORE checkout. All other staff members were incredibly nice and helpful- we even had a nurse/receptionist help us out!

Great location, nice simple breakfast and really helpful staff. However our room was very loud (could hear every movement and conversation in the lobby) and not all the windows in our room had curtains so was really bright. Not the greatest place to try and get any sleep.

Muy muy regular

El hotel, como es normal en Popayan, una vieja edificación, pero el problema es seguido en mantenimiento en paredes, pisos, muebles, etc. La humedad es alta y se respira en el ambiente, piezas viejas y muy muy sencillas... Falta mucho por hacer allí, no volvería al lugar, 2 estrellas máximo.

Perfecto para descansar luego de una ardua jornada de trabajo...el cafe-bar contiguo ofrece un espacio muy ameno para relajarse... lo recomiendo sin duda!
