Eine sehr gepflegte Residenz

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthaltsort mit viel Liebe ins Detail der künstlerischen Art. Die Zimmer sind sehr gross und in der Stube hat es auf der Seite eine kl.Küche. Zum Frühstück kann ich nichts sagen, da wir nicht €65.- zu dritt mit kl.Kind bezahlen wollten. Der SPA kostet pP €50.- inkl.Kinderbetäuung. Die Garage kostet pro Nacht €20.-. Wir haben den Aufenthalt aber sonst sehr genossen & kommen wieder.

European road trip

We stopped here on the way between the Sourh of France and Baden Baden. We wish we could have stayed at least a week as the whole experience was exceptional. We therefore decided to spoil ourselves by dining in the exclusive Muse restaurant within the resort. The 6 course menu was fantastic.

Wonderful family break

I wasn’t sure what to expect from here but it really was excellent. The resort is better than I was expecting. The £50/day for kids pool or spa is not needed as private access to the lake is amazing (and its warm!) On site facilities are great, staff are very helpful and although isolated, there are cute little villages on the lakeside road within walking distance for bars/restaurants. Suitable for couples of families - would definitely recommend.

The hotel was a good standard throughout. The location was excellent and it provided good facilities. Make sure you check what is included in regards to access to pool and other parts, including child care. We got caught out on this as they have different levels for parts of resort. Overall a great Location and resort.

Beautiful location but watch out for upcharges!

Hard to find since apparently one "version" on hotels.com has a different name. We booked under the Residenza Lago Di Lugano (not HOTEL PARCO SAN MARCO POR PORLEZZA). Be aware even though it might say "beach umbrellas" are included, they will upcharge for using their pools (50 Euros!) and they charged us for parking as well. The lake was awesome so we just swam in there during our short stay. Our AC unit in our bedroom didn't work but otherwise, the location is amazing.

Fantastic hotel

Amazing Hotel at lake Lugano. Well maintained and beautiful gardens with view over the lake. Even more nice than the pictures. Great service at check-in. We got an upgrade and got a newly renovated room/apartment with lake view. Very luxurious and nicely decorated. We even got a kid schampo, soap and a bathrobe for our daughter. She was very happy. The hotel offers a lot for kids. The pool areas was unfortunatly not included in our room rate, but there are so much else. Like wall climbing, a zip line, donkeys to feed with carrots, playground, a kids club, swim in the lake etc. Our daughter recieved a treasure map at check-in and we went for a search to collect letters around the resort with a price when all letters were collected. Delicious food and great service in the restaurant. (We ate at the upper) We really enjoyed this hotel a lot and will definitely stay here again if visiting Lugano!

The view from the terrace was unbelievable. We had dinner just down to road with "pelligrino" in the title. We had fresh pike from the lake and it was great. The hotel location is very good.

A site with views as perfect as the photos

What is there to not say about this hotel. Its absolutely stunning, from staff, to service, to the room and everything in between. The site is a botanical garden, it has a wonderful full elevation change and beautiful stairwells and terraces, and a calming river running through it. If you cant relax here then you cant anywhere. The staff where sweet and very personable and spoke English better then I do, (I also learned some Italian from them) the activities even in off season where made available which was great. The rooms was also absolutely beautiful just as the grounds where, I loved the ornamental key you get, and the tilt in windows where so great as was the glass doors with the sheer curtains so you could let the beautiful spring weather in. I had one of the best experiences of my adult life staying here and I will be back next april if I can afford it again, that is a sure thing!

The hotel was very nice. The restuarant on site was amazing-great service and very good food. Everyone was very helpful. Although I had requested a double and two single beds for our family they gave us a double and sofa bed since they could not find our request. Overall though it was very clean and the location was unbeatable.

Gepflegte Anlage in günstiger Lage

Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Ausflüge am Luganer und Comer See. Busverbindungen nach Lugano(z.B. Monte Bre) und Menagio starten direkt vorm Hotel. Der nächste Supermarkt für Selbstversorger und verschiedene kleine Lokale befinden sich in Porlezza, auch per Fußmarsch zu erreichen. Von den Städten hat uns Como sehr gut gefallen, da es hier auch Geschäfte gibt in den kleinen Gassen, die bezahlbare Waren anbieten. Bellagio ist sehr schön, aber im Sommer schon sehr gut besucht. Nette Örtchen sind auch Gandria und Morcote mit dem Scherrer-Park. Wenn man am Abend keinen Stadttrubel braucht ist man in Cima gut aufgehoben.

Great hotel with private lake beach

Great hotel with excellent facilities and spacious, well supported private beach area. However, most impressive feature was the staff, all extremely friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble.

Superfint hotell med underbar park. Väldigt vänlig o hjälpsam personal. Frukosten fantastisk med strålande utsikt mot bergen i Lugano sjön. Nära till både Como, Belaggio, Lugano och Milano. Blev dock rånad i Milano så se upp!

Tranquility defined

My recent stay was in a residenze apartment on the top floor overlooking the lake with a superb view and really comfortable apartment. The lake front area was also bery nice. My only negative was paying euro 10 per day to park my car but otherwise all was very nice including the staff.
