Gateway to Olympic National Park, this coastal town offers mountain views and prime whale-watching from its scenic waterfront. Take the ferry to Victoria for a day trip or hike Hurricane Ridge trails for wildflowers and panoramic vistas.
Visit Cape Flattery it's beautiful but only go if you are moderately fit, short hike but takes a lot out of you on the way back up the trail. Lake Crescent is amazing! Olympic Game Farm is an amazing preserve and I will definitely support them!

Port Angeles feels as if it is a bit depressed, but coming back from more robust times. We chose it because we were taking the ferry to Victoria. We found a good bookstore and cafe and an excellent restaurant.

I think folks may be surprised at how "small town" port angeles feels but it gives a comfort that I didn't expect. The townspeople were kind and welcoming and it's a great town to stay in when visiting Olympic National Park!

"Nice Motel with easy check-in. Rooms were clean and updated. Beds were comfortable. One of the rooms needed white noise due to road noise, but the other one was nice and quiet. The location is perfect for base camp when exploring Olympic park."
"When I saw that this property is a motor lodge/motel, I was surprised at how clean, spacious, and functional our room was. We had a nice view of the marina, an easy walk to food, and it was quiet. Very pleased with our stay at Port Angeles Inn. "

"Check in with physical paper work to do- a litter bit slow. Otherwiseo it is a good stay giving that we book only 1 day ahead of time. What we need is just a place to sleep."
