Grandchildren vacation

Property was just as listed. Owners were prompt, gracious and helpful with any questions we had. Nice quiet neighborhood. Plenty of room for 3 very energetic children to play/explore. Nice front and back porch. Will be staying again in the future.

Fisherman's dream come true!

If you want a vacation away from it all and still be able to enjoy the comforts of home; then look no further!!!! When I was looking for our summer vacation I searched a bunch of different sites a bunch of different apps and still I came back to the edgewater house. I believe that we had the best 3 days, I wish it would have been longer!!!! but if I can bring any satisfaction to somebody looking and looking and looking for the "one" to choose for vacation; especially before school starts,or at any point in time this would be the house!!!! Thank you to Clif and Mercies Magical Maids cleaning services for having everything taken care of and more!!!! We hope to stay again and again!!!!! I really could not ask for a better down home stay! I know my husband hasn't went out for hours fishing like that in a long time, even said we could move here to port lavaca and it would be great!!!! Lol that's why this house is most definitely the fishermans dream come true!!!!!

Great weekend Getaway

Everything was as it said it was. Nice and quiet and the owners were very communicative. The location was perfect. By the water, near 3 beaches, and a great setting for family. Looking forward to staying here again in the future.

Great place close to the beach

Overall our stay was great! There was a washer and dryer, dishes and small appliances provided and the house felt spacious. Everything as portrayed in the listing. There were a couple things missing such as extra trash bags and toilet paper, igniter for the grill and some for the stove were not working, and one of the fire alarms randomly went off so the batteries were taken out for the rest of the stay. Otherwise, the host was very attentive and accommodating to anything that was needed. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet beach getaway.

Wonderful

You can see the water from the front porch but this isn’t a beach front property (ok for us) a very short drive to the beach and fishing pier, quite neighborhood, you can watch all the fireworks from surrounding areas with perfect view. Completely furnished and supplies for the entire house was a big plus. The a/c was great all night. My only suggestion (not a complaint) is I would change out the shower heads, replace the kitchen faucet, put a bigger bed in the front room. Other than that it was perfect and can’t wait for my family to say let’s go again.

Relaxing stay on the bay

Loved staying here. Location was close to town, just a few miles from several family beaches. View of bay in the front and the backyard was like a little oasis. Will definitely stay here again.

Amazing place not enough time

Great location. I go this area with my family to fish. This place was nice with lots of room to hangout. Huge front and back porches. Also a shaded grass area in the back. This spot was a great location between the Marina and Port Lavaca. When we got to house we had a little hiccup with a fire alarm battery being low and chirping. I notified the hosts and with in minutes they had a battery for me. They were awesome and super responsive.

Perfect getaway spot

Me and my husband had such a lovely stay. It was spacious, had everything we needed and absolutely comfortable. We especially loved that it was by the water so when we wanted to fish it was right there. The beach was just down the road too which is very convenient. It had a beautiful backyard, front and backyard patios were lovely as well. I thought it was really nice that they let you use there little cart that hold your fishing poles and gear too. We will definitely stay here again!!!!
