Situated on a canal that leads straight out to the Gulf of Mexico.

This updated property has everything needed for families big and small. Two seating areas in the fully gated backyard as well as a floating dock. Catch and cut your fish right outside at the fish sink and shower off with the outdoor shower.

JUST ADDED, 2 large cockpit kayaks and a paddle board! Take one or all 3 out to the channel and watch the dolphins play in the low tide with a beautiful sunset as your backdrop.

You’ll find in the garage a splashpad that can be hooked up to the hose for some cooling off as well as some yard toys and beach gear for your outings.

The front stoop is perfect for catching our 'one of a kind' sunsets that Hudson is known for.

The decor is a very unique collection of antique, vintage and thrift finds I've collected from California to Florida and everywhere in between.

The weather is superb with a gentle breeze blowing in and out of the open and spacious floor plan. When the humidity gets a little much enjoy the central air inside while looking out the windows to the canal.

Weekend stay near family
We booked this property so we had our own space to stay while visiting family in Hudson. Perfect space for myself, husband, adult son and dog, who loved the fenced-in yard out back. Kitchen and living space was large enough for my family (9 total people) to hang out for a little before going to dinner at the beach. Communication with owner was excellent and the property was stocked well with necessities. Beds were very comfortable and stores and restaurants are near by. If you coming to the Hudson area, I highly recommend this property.

Perfect Location, Great Host!
We booked Helena’s house a year before we stayed. Right from the beginning she was available and helpful. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. The outside sitting area was a nice place to sit and relax after a busy day. The area is very quiet and safe. We would give the area a score of 10 for walkability. You could walk to 5 restaurants, an ice cream parlor, a small store, and even the local beach. There are also lots of places to check out by car that are well worth it. Our favorites were all the state parks and beaches, Homosassa and Monkey Island, Tarpon Springs, and Honeymoon Island’s beautiful beaches just to name a few. We stayed a month and made many day trips, but we were completely happy to just stay at the house and sit by the canal. When we return to Hudson we will definitely stay at Helena’s house.

Location, location!
This house is located so close to all activities you may want to experience. We are golfers and my husband also does fishing. There are 5 different golf courses in this area, so fun! My husband did some charter fishing with Captain Mike who lives just one block from the house! It’s perfect for a variety of dining places, outdoor beach restaurants. Tarpon Springs, Crystal River, Clearwater were some activities we did. All so convenient to drive to. The kitchen and huge dining table provided the opportunity to make many meals as we stayed for 30 days. You have a gas and charcoal grill! Your choice! The lanai was a must have. So nice to open those doors and get the extension to the living area and fresh air. Most important, the beds were so comfortable and for a long stay, we were grateful. Thank you Helena! Yes, you have a very responsive host should you have questions. 😃

Pleasant stay on the canal
We enjoyed the house on the canal. It's in a very quiet neighborhood. The screened in patio was very pleasant to sit and listen to the birds with coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. The house, kitchen, seating area, and bedrooms had everything that we needed. We very much enjoyed our stay.

The owner of this beautiful home thought of everything to make us feel right at home. Access to the water, fishing pools, kayaks. So many extras. This lovely home has everything you need, and then some. Helena has thought of everything! It is very clean and well kept, and the privacy and location are top notch. Our dog loved the freedom of the fully enclosed back yard as well as the view. Definitely a place you will want to visit again and again!

Wonderful stay!
The two of us and our small dog Molly had a really nice time at Helena’s Sea Ranch. The location on the canal makes for great entertainment watching the sea birds and the passing boats. The fenced in backyard made it very relaxing to have Molly with us The neighborhood is quiet and Helena has it supplied with everything you may need- just add groceries! We would live to be there again when we travel down that way.

Everything you need
This house has everything you will need to have a comfortable stay. It is close to restaurants and shopping and a pretty quiet neighborhood. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well-stocked if you want to cook. Helena communicated with us via text and was quick to respond to any questions we had. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much!

Great winter escape
Charming home in a small coastal town had the laid back vibe we were looking for. We were pleased with the cleanliness, being well-equipped and complete with fun decor. Our host, Helena, answered all our questions quickly and anticipated the little things guests might need. Enjoyed access to the kayaks and bikes. Easy 10 minute paddle to the gulf or 10 minute bike ride to Hudson Beach and restaurants. Good location for day jaunts to Weeki Wachee, Tarpon Springs, Madeira Beach (John’s Pass) and St Pete. Great time!

Perfect Florida Beach Get-Away
If you are looking to stay in this part of Florida, this is the PERFECT property to stay in. The VRBO pictures can’t do justice to this little gem of a home! The size is just right for a small gathering, the patio is the perfect place to sit and do nothing or enjoy a meal. Kayaks offer a quick adventure for you or your teenagers. And if kayaking is not to the teens’ liking, several beaches are just a short drive away. Helena, the property owner, provides excellent service and directions!! We could not have asked for a better sty in Florida. Thank you Helena! We will be back for more adventures!!

Love this place
The location is absolutely beautiful! Helena was amazing to work with. We went down to Florida right after hurricane Ian hit and she answered all my questions and kept me updated through the entire thing. We saw a dolphin in the canal behind the house on the first morning we were there. Just a wonderful experience all the way around.
