Making Memories

We had the best time in your beautiful home! This home had everything we needed to have a great time. The house was immaculate and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was stocked with all the tools needed to cook. There were even 2 refrigerators! They had beach gear to share with us. It was RIGHT on the beach, which was so beautiful! We had awesome sunrises and sunsets!! The beds were very comfortable. We paid the extra fee to have the pool heated and it was nice and warm, even in December!! The rental came with a credit for beach gear and we rented some bikes and a kayak. The kayak was especially fun because there’s a large sand bar right in front of the house, and we enjoyed kayaking out there and searching for shells. The bikes were fun also! Communication was great. We only had one problem with the elevator and they responded quickly and sent someone over immediately to fix it!! The bunk room with 8 beds was amazing! We can’t wait to go back! We made such great memories!

Stepping into Paradise

Our group of 17 loved our stay. We’ve been doing these vacations for almost 10 years to different spots and we think this is the closest we’ve ever been to the beach; and we’ve had houses on the beach. Pool was a great place to start; beach set up was literally 20 yards away straight out the path. House was well appointed. Kitchen was fully stocked with all the appliances, silverware, tools that a party our size needs when we primarily cook instead of eat out. House easily slept all 17 of us. We are pleasantly surprised to find a second fridge on the main level , where you enter the house on the ground floor by the pool. I don’t think it was listed or we just missed that in the listing. So it was nice to have that extra storage space. Port Saint Joe is a beautiful, sleepy, gem when you’re looking for a spot that you don’t have to fight all the traffic and crowds in the panhandle like Destin, Pensacola, and Panama City. Highly recommend this house.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we really enjoyed staying in this house. We had our entire family (Grandparents, Aunts/Uncles, and cousins). TNT had plenty of room and the beds were quite comfortable. The house was clean and kitchen well stocked with dishes/cups/silverware to feed an army. I am really pleased with our overall experience!!There were a few hiccups that surprised us as this was a newly built house. Upon arrival, the 4th floor AC Unit went out. Not the owners fault; in fact, they brought in two portable units to help with the heat. But it took all week for it to be repaired and at night, after cooking, the 4th floor was hot. The sand issue is real! If you stay here, I recommend you come up with a plan to stop the sand from traveling. There is only one broom in the whole house and an awkward vacuum—that made cleaning up a little arduous. I recommend the owners consider getting a broom for every floor. Lastly, the elevator. This was a particularly frustrating “tool.” The elevator was necessary for our two handicap parents and for transitioning groceries. We did not allow kids to use it — but if you do anything out of order on the exit, or you leave the folding door open (and shut the outside door) - you will get locked out! There needs to be a manual that you read before using because grown adults kept messing it up. We had to call for help to unlock it and reset it. Super frustrating! It’s better to over-explain than to assume we can figure it out. My last comment would be that there should be extra blankets and pillows (at least two) in the house. In the middle of the night, some rooms would get really cold while others (the kids room) stayed warmer. I froze several nights until we bought an extra blanket. We had every bed filled so extra blankets would have been perfect. Beach access again is wonderful here. We rented a golf cart and enjoyed dropping off the supplies chairs (the had several)

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family of 14 stayed in Tides-n-Tunes. The house was wonderful, clean, comfortable. The beach wasn't crowded at all. The kids loved the private pool. There wasn't much to complain about, but if I gave a few suggestions it would be to make a boardwalk (the sand entrance was getting overcrowded by plants and a few of the kids got burs in their feet), and the outdoor furniture was nice but it would have been over the top if it had some lounge type furniture. I had to stay at the house for a couple of hours each day while my son napped and having some soft lounge chairs would have made it full on luxury out on the deck. But this is small stuff and definitely would not pervent me from coming back. Definitely would recommend!

Great House

We have been taking family vacations for the last 18 years. This trip there were 18 of us. 10 adults; the rest kiddos 13-5 yrs. This house ranks as one of the best if not the best we have stayed in. Very nice furnishings, amenities and gorgeous views. Pool was awesome too! Easy short walk to the beach. The house manager Donna was great to work with. We had a great week!

Several family members love to cook breakfast and dinner for everyone and the kitchen was ideal for our needs. I believe it is the most closely located house to the beach. It was perfectly located for the oldest and youngest to easily get to and from the beach and this was very important to our family. The view of the sunrises and sunsets were spectacular. We will certainly recommend to friends and hope to rent this house again.

Relaxing vacation

Our family and pets enjoyed the spaciousness and privacy afforded by this home. Being steps from the beach and water allowed for days of relaxing in the sun and playing in the gulf. The elevator was very convenient for moving luggage and groceries. The beds were clean and comfortable with an ocean view from each floor. HVAC, showers, and all appliances in good working condition. The pool was clean and great for cooling off from a day in the sun. The oven runs a little hot so be sure to keep the vent hood running while using. We have been visiting Indian Pass for the past 20 years and this house by far is the best we have ever stayed. Already planning our trip for next summer!

Rude management, - Tides and TUNes

Location and house were great for a beach vacation. The refrigerator is small for a group of 15. THe Hot water supply is poor and almost non existent in the Kitchen. It would be helpful to have a vacuum cleaner available for guest to clean up Sand during the visit. The cleaning team did a great job of prepping the house on our arrival. Check in was suppose to be 4:00 PM but we were not able to get into the house until 6:30, due to previous guest leaving the house in awful condition. Not the cleaning teams fault. Management did not contact us or warn us of the delay. My only complaint is that the Be Our GUest representative was horribly rude and difficult to deal with including settling the final charges. We loved the house but not dealing with the management. Look elsewhere.
