"**Great marina views and a very comfortable stay** Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Waterfront Inn. The staff were friendly and helpful. When we arrived at 4:00 p.m., our room was not quite ready, but the staff cleaned it promptly and we were able to get settled in without much of a wait. We stayed in a third-floor room with two queen beds and a balcony. The balcony and chairs were clean, and the view toward the entrance to the marina was excellent. It was fun watching the boats come and go right from our room. The shower was honestly one of the best I have experienced in a hotel. It had great water pressure and a large showerhead. I was also pleasantly surprised by the refrigerator, which had a roomy separate freezer compartment rather than the tiny freezer space that many hotel refrigerators have. The beds were comfortable, although the pillows were a little overstuffed for our preference. The main drawback was noise: our neighboring rooms were quiet for the most part, but we could hear cars in the parking lot. Even so, I would book this room again."

"This is an old brick building that is decorated from the turn of the century. Common rooms as you pass from floor to floor and wind through the building. Very cozy and interesting. And you step right out to Main Street and the bay. We would highly reccomend The Palace as a unique and fun experience."

"The view, the comfy bed, and the ability to open the doors and hear the waves lapping, the seagulls, and seals. Super cool historic building. The only reason I gave it four stars was the thin walls to the other room. The neighbors would loud for sometime but finally went to sleep then it was perfect with just the sound of nature and the ocean."

"This is a self-help apartment. It was very expensive. We were afforded no early check in, even though we far in advance notified them that we had a complicated situation. As a result, because we were at an event, could only check in late. Check out is at 10AM, which is an obnoxious, creeping habit of hotels and air b and b's. It does not take six hours to clean a unit. Also, the stay requires a download of an app, but we did not receive check in information (just an email with a broken link) so had to spend time with tech support to get access. Given the price, which was in excess of $500, we expected nice amenities. There was a Keurig with paper cups and instead of drinking glasses there were plastic cups in plastic bags, like you would get at a cheap motel. There were plastic utensils piled in a drawer down the hall. No bottled water or collective filtered water. The unit was nice and decorated in a quirky and cool way, and the space was comfortable- or would have been had we been able to enjoy it. Our night was the same night as a big event in town, so we may have been victims of an algorithm, but the value just was not there. If you can get a better price and don't mind checking in late and leaving early, it is well located (a bit noisy) right off the main drag, and convenient to everything. Parking is at your own risk, as the parking is posted at 2 hours, but the hotel says it is not enforced. We did not get a ticket, so it held true for us."
