"Apparently in France it is a requirement that hotels switch on their air conditioning system no later than May 28th. France was going through a hot spell with daytime temperatures in Paris of 31°c. The hotel was very hot inside and our room was even hotter. I went to talk to the Front Desk about it and was told no AC until May 28th. Other family members stayed that night in the Hilton next door and that hotel was fully air conditioned. The result for us was that we spent an unimaginably uncomfortable night in an room that must have been about 86° or 87° with absolutely no airflow from the heating/cooling unit in our room - no airflow at all. This was a truly terrible experience."
The Jangle Hotel - Paris - Charles de Gaulle - Airport

"The location of this hotel is strange. There is nothing around it and while it's close to the airport, you need to drive through an industrial park and very isolated area to get to it. The lobby area is fun, well suited for families. There is a scent that hits you when you get off the elevator and while our visit to Provence was filled with the sweet smell of honeysuckle, this was pungent and unappealing. The room was hot, the air conditioner did not work and there was a considerable difference in temperature from the hallway vs. our room. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The inclusive breakfast had a good assortment of food including pastries, meats, eggs, etc., but the drink machines were not working so there was no coffee, tea or hot beverage option. The shuttle, which we scheduled for 7:15 am, was late in picking us up (by 10 minutes) and it does not drop you off by terminal, it's a one stop dropoff and we had a 10 minute train/walk just to get to our terminal."

"The staff were wonderful. The hotel was clean and the security was good. The only problems were that they never received my request for 2 beds. But, they found a room on the day we arrived. The shower was difficult to access and the bathtub side was too high. It was difficult for me to get in and out of the shower."

"The property was fantastic! It was right near the Zaan Sebastian metro which is central to all sights. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The service was excellent. The hotel was near to shopping, food, and just pleasurable walking. The junior suite was roomy and well appointed. It would be tight for three with a lot of luggage, but perfect for 2 people with average luggage. Plan on bringing my daughter back. Loved it!"

"Very good accommodation in the short proximity to shopping areas and Notre Dame. Quite, cozy, all you need is there, incl. iron, coffee machine and wine opener. Would be great to have wifi password correct from the beginning. but host replied within a minutes after we were notable to connect."
