Alvor Holiday

This property was set in an ideal location. Fabulous big sunny balcony, close to the beach and all the great restaurants in Alvor. It has its own pool beds and an additional 2 sun beds on the balcony as well as a table chairs and drying facility. All the white goods were in excellent order , washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer etc.It was exceptionally clean and a very big apartment. Would highly recommend. We will definitely be back.

The location of the apartment is amazing, everything is easily accessible and a short walk away. The apartment itself is fabulous, very clean and spacious. The pool area is well kept.

Clube Alvor Ria

The apartment was ideally located looking out to sea and very convenient to Alvor with a 2 to 3 minute walk taking you to the heart of Alvor. The apartment was very clean with no clutter of any kind and a cleaning lady came in half way through our stay. Isabella our host was very efficient and friendly making for a stress free break. Would definitely stay here again Mike & Carol

Perfect location

The accommodation has large rooms and balcony. All kitchen appliances and a large fridge/freezer. The aircon is quiet and very efficient. Beach 5 to 10 min walk, Harbour area with restaurants 2 min walk. Town with shops and eateries 2 min walk. Sunset views from the balcony. Nice pool area. Everthing perfect.

Alvor stay

Isabel is a great host, her apartment is right next door if you need anything. Apartment was just as the pictures showed, with absolutely ever You could need for a two week stay like we did. The location couldn’t be better, really! Everything close by. Only one negative, and it’s just one person opinion, the couches were uncomfortable for sitting. All in all, five star Isabel!!

Lovely 1 bed apartment views over Harbour and sea.Great location for boardwalk,beach and restaurants/bars. Everything you need for your stay including tablets for dishwasher's and washing machine. Large balcony that has 2 sunbeds, table chairs etc. Angle of apartment means balcony is sheltered from prevailing winds etc. Isabel the host was lovely and very considerate. Highly recommended and will stay again

The apartment was okay

Unfortunately there were building works directly in front of our apartment (also all apartments in block C). This meant our balcony was not the best place to sit in. Apart from that the apartment was clean and comfortable and we loved Alvor and its surroundings.

A nice apartment

Great communication with Isabel Apartment was spotless and clean and had most of what you need at your disposal. There are also 4 sunbeds to use by the pool. Bit of noise from the upstairs apartments but the owner can’t control this. Thanks Isabel See you again one day maybe

Prime position

Isabel's apartment is in prime frontline position overlooking the estuary to one side and seaview the other. Apartment itself had everything you could possibly need and wonderfully equipped. Large balcony with table, chairs and 2 sunbeds. The one let down was the pool area. The pool itself was lovely but the surround was cobbled which was not easy to walk on barefoot and it could have done with a good power wash. It was also looking rather untidy, with gardening cuttings left for days. There was also a small shelter (maybe for children?) But it was in disrepair with rubbish inside. This is no reflection on isabel and would wholeheartedly recommend her apartment.

Perfect little getaway

Isabel was extremely helpful throughout the entire process of booking, checking in and for the duration of our stay she was always available to help us. The property was extremely clean and the location is perfectly surrounded by plenty of restaurants / shops / bars. We will definitely look to return, thank you Isabel :)

Great location

Located near the beach and town of Alvor (5min walk). Very friendly host who welcomed us in a clean and comfortabel apartment. There is also a nice and clean swimming pool, sunbeds included. From the apartment you have a wonderful view to the beach and harbor. Top location!!

The best location in Alvor!

Me and my family have been coming to Alvor for more than 20 years. The location of Clube Alvor Ria is the best one. 5 minute walk to the beach and 3 minutes to the town. From apartment 214 you have great views of both the Atlantic and the stunning river area. The property owner is very service minded and attentive. I highly recommend this apartment for a trouble free holiday with stunning views!

Lovely apartment in a great location

We return to Alvor every year and this is one of the nicest apartments we've stayed in; Clean, comfortable, well-equipped and with beautiful views. Isabel was staying next door throughout our stay and was on hand to answer any queries we had and to loan us some coffee when we ran out! She also invited us over for cakes on the last day, which was really kind of her. We're looking forward to staying again next year. Thanks Isabel.

Excellent Apartment and location in Alvor

The apartment is in a good location, a few minutes from the beach and a short walk from Alvor's bars and restaurants. The location is quiet and in a gated complex with communal pool and parking. The apartment was very clean, well maintained and spacious, with excellent facilities for self catering , plus a safe and free Wi-Fi. There was no welcome pack that some other reviewers commented on, but that was no problem for us. There are two sofa beds in addition to the one bedroom. The mattress was quite firm and the bed a standard size. A king or queen size would have been better, the room is certainly large enough. From the balcony there are views of the beach and harbour, it doesn't overlook the pool. Great for having breakfast and watching Alvor slowly come to life each day. This is our first time to Alvor and we loved it. It has an excellent beach that was not too busy, with numerous beach bars/restaurants and the old town centre with its wide choice of restaurants and bars, plus supermarkets and convenience store. Some of the bars are lively and there are also places if you want a quiet drink, have a chat and watch the sunset. The booking process with the owner Isabel was easy with regular communication via e-mail. We were met by Maria when we arrived who showed us around and gave us useful information. They were happy to accommodate a slightly early arrival which was very helpful for us to make the most of our first day. We have already been recommending Alvor and Isabel's apartment to family and friends. We would return to both without hesitation.
