“Barbara was an excellent host, the property and surrounding area are quite peaceful, while only being a short drive from the main road. Winifred Beach (perhaps one of the best beaches in the island, keep it public) is about a 7 minute drive down a (pretty bad) side road a couple blocks over. The room was great for what I needed, a place to relax and sleep after a long day of driving. There wasn't an AC but it was cool enough that the fan was more than sufficient. What I didn’t like was the fact that to get there, the drive up to the house was very steep and if you don’t know how to handle the drive, it’s problematic. The second thing I didn’t like was that while the property boasted about having a pool, it was only when me and my family arrived we were informed that the pool wasn’t working due to not filtering properly.
