Great place

Great VRBO in Porto that has a great view and a local feel. Issues with accessibility noted by others isn’t really an issue unless you’re unable to get around. Bolt/Uber in Porto are so cheap that the location is convenient for everything.

The building had a nice patio with a great view. The guest service check-in contact went above an beyond! The location is not suitable to seniors or people with mobility issues. The guest ready transit did not know how to drop off at the building but rather at the end of the flume with two set of stairs. The location for ride share must be pinned as there is no actual street access. This made for a frustrating time getting in and out of the unit.

Positve: Excellent view overlooking the River. Great Lacation, walking distance to city center, train station, shopping etc. We managed everything by foot or Uber. Negative: Property on balcony side, there is construction happening below that one doesn't see through the photos on the website. During the day you have the constant noise of the construction. On the front entrance side you have the the train tracks above where every few minutes trains are passing through from the nearby train station and because we slept with the windows open ( can't sleep with AC on) it was extremely unbearable after a few days stay ( we booked for 14 nights). It would have been nice to know this factor before we booked. We also had water leak through a lamp fixture despite calls, emails and visit to office, this was never fixed and made due with a bucket in the kitchen.

Het appartement zelf was schoon en ruim, met prima airco en badkamers. Helaas was de locatie zelf niet naar verwachting. De buurt Freixo in Porto wordt opgeknapt, en dat is goed, maar het uitzicht op de Douro werd er niet mooier op. Daarnaast is het geraas en gepiep van de train vlak achter het appartement soms als onweer. We misten daarnaast wat simpele spullen in de keuken. Het contact met VRBO was goed en dat is opgelost.
