Mediocre Stay
Overall the location was in a good spot for access to all Porto has. Closest metro station is 8-10 minute walk. Everything is walkable once you’re there as long as you’re able to walk some hills and stairs. Unfortunately, the main floor of the apartments lights didn’t work so we were living with a single floor lamp. We attempted to switch the breaker back on per the host request but that shorted the whole house so we elected to leave that breaker off. The privacy of the main floor is lacking because the main floor windows don’t have curtains and 1 of the main floor windows in the center has no frosted glass. This allowed every pedestrian a front row seat into our apartment. The stairs are very narrow and unsteady so be careful walking up and down. The bathrooms were only stocked with 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom for a 4 day stay with three guests. There were no laundry pods provided despite having a laundry area. There were no coffee pods provided, unlike all other apartments I have rented. The pillow options were not vast and there were minimal blankets provided. The comfort of the main floor sitting area was lacking. Overall the location was worth it, but would choose another apartment in the area if I was booking again.
