The thing to bear in mind if you stay on a weekend is not the bar, but the nearby nightclub that goes on after the bars close as the bass from that is pretty loud. "A 2 night stay in a small single room. The decor could do with a refresh, but the staff were wonderful, friendly, helpful and kind. A real credit to the hotel. The room had everything I needed, and the hotel has free parking and is easy to get to. Town centre is a gentle stroll away. I would stay here again."
