I knew it was an older property, and we chose it solely for its location to our family members. Our room was not in great shape- stains on walls, cracks on ceilings, fixtures (outlets, toilet paper holder, etc) not fully secured to walls. Towels had holes in them. WiFi wasn’t the best. I did not complain to staff and I would stay here again only because it is a great location. I just thought of it as a camping trip. The A/C did work great in the room, especially with it being overly hot for this region of the country.

This is actually a beautiful building. The rooms of especially the bathrooms that they are advertising with Jacuzzi tubs are extremely overdue for renovation. There is paint and tile chipping all over the place in the bathroom and Jacuzzi tub. The sheets had those are yellow stains on them if you know what I’m talking about it looks good from the outside. It’s a different world on the inside.

The property is located in a beautiful riverside setting surrounded by greenery. Unfortunately, that was the only positive aspect of the property. The entrance doors were badly worn and scratched, with no sign of even basic maintenance such as repainting. As soon as we entered the lobby, we were met with a strong smell of oriental spices that was very unpleasant. After checking in and entering our room on the second floor, we were overwhelmed by an unbearable odor. The first thing we had to do was open the windows to air out the room, despite the lack of mosquito screens. We then discovered a thick layer of dust throughout the room, making it obvious that it had not been properly cleaned. The mirror had simply been wiped with a dirty cloth, leaving visible smears, and there was debris on the floor. I took photos and showed them to the receptionist. I was told there were no other rooms available and was offered the option to cancel my reservation instead. I accepted that offer and left the property.

I've stayed here several times, but haven't been here in about a year. I was disappointed in the cleanliness as well as some things in need of repair. Breakfast was okay. There was an issue with someone leaving their dog unattended for a number of hours. The poor dog was scratching at the door of the room, making a lot of noise. I tried to reach the front desk, but no one answered the phone. I don't mind pet friendly hotels. I have a dog. It was frustrating that no one could be reached.

Our room clearly was not vacuumed and the garbages were full of litter from previous occupants. We were given 2 body towels for 2 people and staff were resistant to provide “extra”. The sheets on one bed had tears and there was a definite musty smell in the main area. Breakfast was basic but apples in the holder were clearly rotten. We will not be back.
