Staying at the Beaver "Stone Cottage" (a 3 min drive away from the main hotel) has been my worst experience at a hotel yet. The walls are paper thin, and when people slam or close their room door, you hear as if you are in the same room. My neighbors decided to stay up late into the night, far after 1am, and I heard every laugh and comment, every door closing, despite putting in ear buds.
In addition, there was not a strong enough signal on the internet, that was supposed to be available, so I could never connect to the internet, as it was non existent.
When I talked to the front desk, the clerk was unhelpful and wouldn't offer a complimentary breakfast or discount on any fututre stays. I was surprised at her callousness towards my night, which didn't help at all. There should be a warning on the website that if you expect to get a good nights rest, the customer will not receive one. I'm sure in the main hotel, my experience would have been quite different. In my opinion, this "hotel' was more akin to the lowest quality "motel" you could seek to stay at. I never complain, so this review shows how bad this stay was.
