This was our second stay at Casa La Ulivella, and it was just as wonderful as we remember from our first time there nine years ago. The property is easily accessible by just a short flight of stairs (a real treat on the Amalfi coast) and is half a block from the perfect viewpoint for sunsets over Capri. The home is well fitted with comfortable furniture, a great bed and everything you need for a relaxing stay. But the highlight is the amazing deck and the unforgettable view!! A variety of outdoor furniture made it easy to spend most of our time out there.The online check-in process was seamless and Francesco took good care of us, checking in each day to see if we needed anything. We couldn’t have had a better stay in Praiano!

Dream vacay!!

Our stay in Praiano in June was an absolute dream! Francesco was wonderful with communication and assisting us to book drivers, dinner, reservations, etc. We were in communication for several months leading up to our stay. Praiano is a lovely town to stay in, but be prepared that you will need to walk many, many steps! Of course, the higher up you are, the better the views :-). The view from this balcony was absolutely stunning. The apartment was extremely clean and comfortable, after we reached out to Francesco to fix an issue with the air conditioning. The bed is comfortable and we have zero complaints! Would highly recommend this property and a stay on the Amalfi coast!

Great Stay in Praiano

Our first time to the beautiful Amalfi Coast could not have been better! The view from villa was stunning. The villa was clean and well stocked. Francesco and his team at SMAAC were the best! We had a few minor issues while there but Francesco responded promptly to our messages. He was incredibly helpful in arranging our transfers to/from Rome. We could not be happier with the service Francesco provided!

beautiful!

the apartment was very efficiently laid out, nicely appointed and well equipped. the property management staff was very helpful and responsive. self check in and check out was a breeze! the deck overlooking the sea is amazing! praiano is awesome and quiet, because amalfi and poisitano are so busy with tourists!

First class all the way

This was one of the Best VRBO experiences I’ve had Francesco was very accommodating and always just a moment away with help with anything. The housekeeper was very sweet. This villa is spectacular. It’s probably best for a couple in love. The amenities were wonderful, but the view and the back porch really sell the experience. Don’t hesitate to book this for your next vacation.

Stunning!

The pictures on this listing are good and very accurate, yet somehow we still found the house to be better than expected. It’s a very open floor plan and then the balcony nearly doubles it in size, all very clean and well stocked. The balcony view can’t be described and we enjoyed it at all times of the day or evening. Hotel Margherita right down the street has a great restaurant that we tried for lunch and also dinner and then right as you come out of the parking gate over the flat there’s a great little restaurant (Kasai) where we ate outside twice with great views, great food and very nice staff! We found it best to have dinner reservations made ahead at both. Bus tickets and bus stop are at Hotel Margherita, not even a 5 minute walk and there’s a market just a few more minutes walk beyond that. We didn’t find much to do in Praiano but we actually loved that it was not a heavy touristy spot and we had some nice walks and plenty of time on the spectacular balcony! Owner response was very quick when I had some confusion with the washing machine (my fault) and someone came to the house within 10 minutes to help. It was a lovely home in a stunning spot and we would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great location, fabulous view!

Spacious villa with a fantastic view. Sitting and watching the boats and the sunsets was magical! Kasai, a wonderful restaurant is literally right across the street. I would come again!

We had a fantastic time in this beautiful place in Praiano. We had easy access to the bus and local grocery store, Tutto per Tutti. The views are stunning and we will be back!

Beautiful!!!!! Just as described in listing.

We loved it. The villa was just as described in listing. Terrace was huge with gorgeous view of the sea and town. Everyone at SMAAC was great and helpful with all of our requests. The restaurant above the villa, Kasai, was really good and convenient. We cooked a little, washed clothes, no dryer but there was a drying rack and the clothes dried pretty quickly. Would recommend this property and the rental company. We'll use them again if we get the opportunity to go back to Praiano and the Amalfi Coast.

Splendid

Wonderful place. Absolutely stunning view, big terrace, appartment cute andy tidy, everything that you may need in place. Kasai restaurant just cross the street - great food and nice staff. Owner of the appartment lives one floor below - very friendly and helpful. We loved holidays there, borrowed a scooter to go to Amalfi or Positano - leave your car on the parking spot, if you don't want to spend your day in traffic jams :) At least in August...

Amazing Property!

The views alone are so magical from this property! 180 degree views of the sea. The apartment is super cute and is stocked pretty well (could use a can opener). There is a restaurant across the street and a market down the street where you can get the basics. The restaurant at the Hotel Margherita which is also pretty close is fabulous. If you are gutsy, there are 1400 steps or so close by that you can take up to the magical hiking trail called the Path of the Gods. Praiano is a very quaint, small fishing town. We really enjoyed our time spent here. Carmen was super sweet and accommodating. Thank you!

Wonderful view

Our holiday was wonderful. The villa was bright and modern, fully equipped with everything. Parking on site is a good idea as there is no available place in the narrow street. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and could easily return.

The apartment was clean, comfortable in an amazing location with views of the Amafi coast

The location was excellent in terms of views very comfortable and clean. Parking was not available on the roads but the private parking was charged at €20 per night. We didn't expect this so €140 extra represented another 25% on the cost of the rental which was not clear on booking. The staff were helpful and the local people really pleasant. Local shops were fine for most food things. The roads require nerves of steel!

Perfekt ausgestattete Wohnung mit traumhaftem Meerblick

La Ulivella ist eine der schönsten - oder auch die schönste - Ferienwohnung, die wir je hatten. Sie ist perfekt, wirklich durchdacht und liebevoll ausgestattet und super sauber. Die riesige Terrasse mit dem Blick auf das Meer ist traumhaft schön. Sie liegt direkt unterhalb des Restaurants "KASAI", das man uneingeschränkt empfehlen kann. Man könnte dadurch eventuell Lärmbelästigung vermuten, die es aber definitiv nicht gibt. Das am nächsten gelegene Lebensmittelgeschäft ist nicht wirklich weit, aber es liegt etwas bergab und der Weg zurück ist zu Fuß, wenn man schwer bepackt ist, dann doch etwas beschwerlich. Wir haben eine Vespa gemietet, damit kommt man dann problemlos überallhin.

La Ulivella is lovely. The views are incredible. The place is exactly as described.

Overall I would recomme d this place.and we would stay again. They went out of their way to help us book drivers etc. I would note that if you have trouble getting around and don't rent a vehicle this might not be a good fit because it is up on a hill but if you don't mind it is what makes the view. We felt like it was to fine for us..walking off the food and wine. I would suggest that they give better directions on the garbage.and recycling. We accidentally stumbled upon it in a drawer the night before we left. Also instructions for the oven, washer etc. for those who aren't familiar with European models would be helpful but otherwise perfect, relaxing and stunning views.
