“I called to verify their pool was open and they said yes. When we arrived the pool was closed and had dirt. I told them I asked for a redund and they said I would stil get charged 1 days worth so I decided to stay but the main reqson for renting the room was so that my family could use the pool. The pictures online were not at all how the hotel was. Thw elevator made serious noises and I was cery disappointed at the false advertising.”

“This hotel was probably super nice about 50 years ago, but it hasn't aged well -- and neither has the are in which it is located. When I arrived, there were some sketchy looking characters hanging around the front entry and smoking, so that you couldn't enter the property without breathing their nasty cigarette smoke. The room was OK, but really dated. The air conditioner struggled to get the room cool enough at night for sleeping. The WiFi and internet worked flawlessly. The highlight here……

I really do not like leaving negative reviews, but Abilene is consistently higher priced than the other cities I stay in (Tucson and Tuscaloosa) and the hotel is never as clean and up to date. “Management Chaos and Extremely Poor Service (Stayed 12/26-12/27) My stay from 12/26 to 12/27 was highly disappointing due to inconsistent management and unprofessional staff. Upon arriving late after a long road trip, the front desk was disorganized and even asked if I had "already checked in," causing a 15-minute delay for no reason. I had specifically pre-purchased breakfast and confirmed the hours with the front desk, who stated it ended at 10:30 AM. However, when I arrived with my family……

The beds and sheets were clean the kitchenette appliances and walls area could have used some cleaning up and wiping down . The walls in the kitchen area needs to be wiped down along with the walls in the restroom. The hotels is well lit and close to lots of restaurants, gas stations and Walmart .
