The place was adequate and just as pictured. The master bed was a little hard for our liking. There is no AC and being from the mainland this was problematic for comfort and allergies. The unit did have extra chairs, a cooler and the complex was nice. There was a parking fee of 15 per day, plus tax that we were not told about before arrival.

Kauai

Condo was nice but i would ask that you keep all window coverings closed for check in. The condo was so hot because the sun had been shining in all day. Once we got the doors opened and the breeze was much better.

Little piece of heaven

This was a beautiful spot - great views of ocean and plant life. The chickens were fun to watch - the roosters kept us on our toes and helped us get up in the morning. We will definitely stay here again.

Another great stay at the Cliffs!

We enjoyed this property so much last time we stayed that we returned for another great visit. The unit is clean, bright and spacious. The only negative is the occasional noise from people at the pool but we didn’t let it bother us. It doesn’t have air conditioning but you don’t need it - the ocean breezes are perfect.

Outstanding vacation rental

We loved everything about this property. We were originally booked at another property nearby but were notified last minute that the other property was undergoing construction. The rental agency allowed us to cancel without penalty and moved us here. We were so glad they did. We had a great week here at the Cliffs at Princeville and would book this unit again in a heartbeat!

Just Perfect.

Condo at the Cliffs

We were very happy with the condo-warning, it is up 3 flights of stairs with no elevator. It is well maintained and everything we needed was there. The grounds were beautiful, but the pool was too cold and hot tub was smokin hot. Overall, a beautiful location, nice place to stay with great amenities.

Fantastic stay!

We had a great stay at the condo. It was prefect for my husband, daughter, and I. Very clean and well appointed and the views were gorgeous. The grounds were very nicely kept and the location adjacent to the pool was perfect. No complaints whatsoever. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to friends & family for sure. FYI if you have not traveled to Kauai before, I recommend that you bring some ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. Chickens are part of island life and the roosters start to crow at the first hint of dawn. All part of the experience :)

Cliffs Club Vacation

We have been owners for 30 years at the Cliffs Club. We love it here. Stay at the unit was fine. Need to privide beach chairs and cooler. In general, Hawaii is becoming so expensive that we are considering other vacation destinations. Enjoy!

Fantastic stay

This was a perfect place to stay for the four of us. It was clean and spacious. The view was my favourite! It was fully equipped with everything we needed. The little gift of a cooler bag came in handy for the entire trip. We will be back!

Wonderful Property 5+ Stars for Family Use

So initially I was a bit nervous about 2 things I had read about this property both of which turned out great. 1- no AC... but as it turns out Princeville is very windy and there are cool breezes that come through constantly, enough to keep the apartment very comfortable. 2- I was worried about the hot tub and pool being right outside the master bedroom. With a little bluetooth speaker and a white noise app it covered the noise. We LOVED this property. The views are amazing. The two balconies are so fun to spend time on. The loft and vaulted ceilings make it feel very spacious and airy. The master is huge and the kitchen and bathrooms are up to date. There is hot water and good water pressure in the showers. The tub was handy for bathing our little ones. We loved spending time in the apartment but also made use of the hot tubs and pool. My kids played on the play ground and my son and I used the work out rooms and the tennis courts. Make sure to make use of the hammock and chairs overlooking the ocean. They have food trucks and local stores for groceries (*check in with the concierge if you plan to shop at Foodland. They were giving out a 10% off your shopping trip at Foodland coupon when we arrived). There was a full kitchen and I was able to make meals like I would at home. As far as spices go, the kitchen had only salt and pepper so you'll need to buy spices if you want them. When we went (end of March beginning of April 2022) they had a nice large Coleman cooler with wheels, 4 beach chairs, 1 large beach umbrella, 4 tennis rackets, 3 tennis balls, and 3 Boogie boards that worked great. The boogie boards are good but are showing wear. We took our own beach toys and snorkel gear and were glad we did as there weren't any available. We were told there was no pack n play but there ended up being one in the loft closet. Not knowing this, we had brought our own. Laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, Kleenex, paper towels, BandAids and toilet paper were provided enough for the 9 days we stayed. There was also a vacuum and broom. There were beach towels and regular towels—however, if you plan to buy towels, I'd recommend doing it at the beginning of your stay or bringing your own because we were constantly needing to wash and dry towels to keep up with our family needs. The couches and chairs and beds were comfortable. We loved the location and views. If we come back to Kauai we'd book this exact rental again. Thanks!

Cleanest Condo I've stayed at in Princeville

This condo was great, the location was as expected. It was very clean the beds are okay (typical of a vacation rental). Kitchen is stocked well enough. The condo had beach chairs and and a cooler to use, that was nice. The only bad part was that there is no electronic lock, you have to pick up keys in Lihue and then keep track of physical keys during your stay. It's not terrible but certainly a hassle and a bit outdated. I would stay here again it was set up great for a family with kids.

Beautiful unit but hot tub noise is a deal breaker

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our first time to Kauai. It won't be the last! Unfortunately I will not be returning to this unit. The unit is beautifully decorated and loved the vaulted ceilings with the 3rd floor unit. The loft was very comfortable and roomy with lots of storage space. 2 bathrooms was a huge plus! The kitchen was functional but no condiments, even salt. But everything you needed, including a dishwasher, to prepare any meals. I liked the private entry for each of the units. Washer and dryer were convenient, even pods included. The beach accessories were awesome and we used them every day. There were not any boogie board as others had stated. The owners were very responsive and helpful. The screens fell off from the loft windows and they were quick to remedy this. The Princeville area is the BEST when it comes to peacefulness and beauty and the resort itself was very quiet and beautiful. As many reviewers mention, there is no A/C, which shouldn't be needed with the wonderful breezes. The deal breaker was the master bedroom's close proximity to the adult hot tub. We could not enjoy the trade winds with any of the doors or windows open due to the noise from the hot tub all 8 nights. We did a lot of hiking and were early to bed and early to rise most days. "Quiet" hours are a joke, but are posted for 10pm. We had to call the resort security multiple times to get a partying group out of the pool area well after 10pm. It really was enough to be a deal breaker. I am planning a return visit to Kauai for next February and didn't even put this unit on the list. As beautiful as it was, i wouldn't risk it. It stunk having to sleep with the windows closed.

Amazing

This property is everything advertised and more. From the ocean view on front lanai to back lanai view of mountains overlooking the pool. My boys, age 8 and 10 loved their loft with a tv and Xbox . The beds were really comfy and we always enjoyed a great breeze being on a corner unit. Condo itself is in a perfect location, easy walk to pool, bbq, fitness center and parking lot. Cliffs has great amenities and daily activities. We loved coming home from the beach, enjoying the pool and pizza or tacos from the weekly food trucks. My only recommendations would be (and this is in no way a criticism) a broom and dust pan for sand that inevitably gets in, extra pillows and some Windex to clean the glass top tables. We made do with a vacuum found in closet, I “borrowed” pillows from the loft beds and used a sponge to wipe down tables. We hope to be back next year and will definitely be staying at Cliffs 5301! Mahalo for sharing this special place.
