(Paramount, YOUTUBE, Disney, HULU, etc) I also did not like getting hit with some local fees, taxes and local donations that were not already covered in my reservation with Expedia. “Great downtown Honesdale, PA location. At check in I was told to park in the Wayne Memorial Hospital lot which is shared with the Hotel. Check in was pleasant/easy. Stairs to 2nd floor room. At end of day rush hour a bit noisy from the busy street/intersection. Room could use a thorough cleaning and some updates. Older mattress well past its' useful life. Sink water had mislabelled Hot/Cold faucets. Water had an odor? A/C worked OK but curtain blocked the flow if closed. Shower head……

“Graham and Krista have put together a fabulous chic modern hotel that was a pleasure to stay at for our weekend getaway to Lake Wallenpaupack. The Lakelyn Lodge in Lakeville PA is a newly renovated hotel with a fabulous eye to detail and with great finishing touches. We were extremely pleased with the attention to our needs and the attentiveness of the owners. It was a top notch experience from start to finish. The positives: breakfast buffet had everything one could think of for breakfast and was tasty and the service was great. The ceiling above the round bed had twinkling lights which was cool to look at in the dark. It was fun to see the deer and other wildlife. The negatives: room had a musty smell.
