「We’ve used Hotels.com for years and have always had good experiences — until now. This particular booking was deeply disappointing. The apartment was nothing like the listing described, and certainly not worthy of the 5-star rating shown on the site. It was damp, smelled musty, and there were visible signs of moisture damage — possibly even mold.
We tried to contact both the property and Hotels.com during the stay. The property never responded, and despite our detailed complaint, Hotels.com...

「The Villas at Victor Hugo was a lovely place. Very convenient for our days in Avignon. The Expedia listing for the apartments is incorrect in that it lists washer and dryer for the apartments - but it seems that there is only one or two apartments that have that amenity. This was a big negative but not a reflection of the host as they have repeatedly tried to get Expedia to correct the error.」

「L'appartement est spacieux, agreable et confortable. Une place de parking est attribuée.
La personne à l'arrivée et au départ est très sympathique et efficace. Mais, l'appartement en rez de jardin est très mal insonorisé. Réveillés à 5 heures du matin par des pas, des voix, des bruits d'eau...D'autre part, les taxes de séjour ne sont pas comprises dans le prix de la réservation alors que ce n'est pas mentionné sur le site.」
