1. Boutique Tuscan Retreat | Stupendous Panoramic Views | Plunge Pool | Sleeps 5

Borsigliana

"What a wonderful stay! The house is beautifully and recently renovated, with a stunning view from the terrace that we enjoyed every evening. Air conditioning made the stay very comfortable even during the warm Tuscan days, and the plunge pool was perfect for cooling off in the afternoon heat. We loved having two separate bedrooms and two separate bathrooms, which gave everyone plenty of privacy and space. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore the surrounding Garfagnana area — we’ll...

"We had high expectations, but the place exceeded them! The views of the valley, the animals, the landscape, the pool and the history of the charming old houses are some of the highlights, and of course Marco and the host Simonetta. It was fun to drive the winding mountain roads to the house (we tested most in the area also). The property is well maintained and simply magical. Some things are starting to get a little worn, but that doesn't ruin the experience. We will definitely be back if we get...

"We had a lovely holiday (family with 5 kids, age 11 to 23), peaceful and quiet and with the option to go out for a good meal nearby. Culture and swimming to be found with a car ride of 20 min, a beautiful mountain lake for swimming and nice little towns. Lucca and other more touristic places are a bit further, still good to do by car. The house and garden are spacious with all you need for a relaxing holiday. "Das Chalet entspricht genau der Beschreibung und ist ruhig gelegen. Der Ort ist sehr ursprünglich. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet. Ein paar Bänke müssten mal ausgetauscht werden. Top Province of Lucca Hotel Reviews

Hotel San Marco

8/10 Good

"We travelled by train so was great to find a bus nearby to take us to the station . A very easy walk into town of Lucca which is beautiful. Stayed a week at Hotel San Marco so could have done with some variety in the breakfast . The pool area was great for relaxing before and after any day trips out and about . Room was well equipped , bit dark as had no windows but the bonus was a private garden with seating and table. Overall a great stay"

Albergo Celide

10/10 Excellent

"We booked a small double room but it was very comfortable, and had everything we needed. The staff were very helpful and kindly tolerated my speaking Italian. Breakfast was varied and plentiful with great coffee. And the location was great - a walk from the station and a short walk from the city walls. Thank you"

Versilia Lido | UNA Esperienze

10/10 Excellent

"This hotel was amazing. My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary and we could not have been happier with our experience. The front desk staff were absolutely fantastic. They were helpful, friendly, kind and generous with their time. The surrounding area around the hotel was manicured, the pool was beautiful and roof top restaurant is a must see. Thank you for a lovely time and making our anniversary something we will not forget."
