"After we finally got checked in, turned the AC on and it was not cold. Owner told me it would cool down and to let her know if I didn't need it "cold like hers (friend's room) I would be fine but I could switch it in the morning. Let me be clear, the AC did not work AT ALL and when we returned it was hotter in the room than outside at 9pm. Couldn't open the windows or doors because the of the mosquitoes. "This was a lovely hotel- great location - literally 1 minute from the main boardwalk and pier where the boat tours are and the taxi stand. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. Good drinks at the bar, nice pool. Breakfast is a simple buffet. Overall, I would stay again."

"We loved our stay at El Barranco! Cannot praise it enough: excellent location, brand new hotel and amenities, amazing infinity pool, their own pier going to the ocean, kayaking off the dock, you can see wild life right there, wonderful pool side bar and a bar-attender. Everything in this hotel was amazing and we enjoyed it thoroughly. We will never stay anywhere else. Do not hesitate to book! It is absolutely the best hotel on the island!"

"Cucuve was our home for our first five nights on Santa Cruz Island. Conveniently located just minutes to Charles Darwin Street and lots of shops and restaurants. This was the cleanest and best-managed hotel I have ever stayed at. The manager shows extreme care in every aspect of the hotel maintenance and cleaning. The room was large and comfortable. Laundry service was convenient and inexpensive, but walking across the street will save you 70% if you take the laundry out yourself. Highly recommended!!!!"

"Sometimes you go to a place where they make you feel like family. Thats how we felt at Maidith. Elvira and Carlos, the proprietors, were kind, helpful, and just all around amazing people. The hotel is definitely one of the best….the Gaudi inspired architecture is so lovely. The room was spotless our entire stay. The shower was hot and the AC was cold. The hotel is close to everything! 10/10"
