The only negatives were that we couldn’t get a room on the second floor. My wife has mobility issues and they couldn’t accommodate our request so it was difficult for her to go up and down the stairs. Also our room did not have working lights in the room (ie table/pole lamp. We would still stay here again because of the atmosphere and staff.

Love this hotel close to the beach you can walk you can walk to Manny’s also down the street. There’s Lolitas where it’s a breakfast buffet love this hotel will recommend.

We stayed in this hotel 3 nights. We reserved 2 suites it was very spacious. We like it. The hotel does need a lot of remodeling, but if you're not picky it's a nice place to stay.

Good budget stay for family but property is in huge need of renovation. Avoid higher floors as there is no elevator.

4 th floor is a bit of a climb. TV from 2001 , pool was nice but a bit dirty , understandable as they had 4 teen soccer teams staying there . Adequate but they could do way better.

Lights didn't work in the suite. Ned light was bdoke bedroom fan was broke bedroom light completely broke i like to do my make-up sitting , 1 mirror still no light in the bedroom i burned my leg 3rd degree burn. Was there 5 day's and no one came to fix the room lights. No side tables or any table in between beds as it was a queen suite. Over a 100 stay each night . Only positive was the shower with hot waterits not worth the money the suites ate just like the regular rooms.
This is from having no lights in the room and the floor was slippery that caused me to fall where the bruise is. Housekeeping sucks.

Not returning to this hotel

The pull out sofa mattress had disgusting stains all over it. The toilet leaked out into the sink area. The sheets were full of holes. We had no cellphone service in the room.

The hotel was in poor shape, they provided us with two remotes for the televisions, neither worked. Management told us they would replace them, but never did. Rooms were dingy, absolutely no artwork or photos on the walls. The vertical blinds were broken and nonfunctional. There were no hand towels, wash cloths. This hotel at one time must have had some amenities as there were skeletons of old bars and possibly a lounge. This property is run down and poorly run. We won't return.

I almost didn’t book after reading some of the other reviews, but glad I did. This exceeded my expectations. It is weathered, but has character. Old, but clean. I felt very comfortable and safe. Easy walk to the beach. Everyone is super friendly. Great value for the price.

It could be a wonderful place. Needs work. Everything is old and wore. Beds hard, pillows super thin but clean. Bathroom towels were super worn. Pool nice but plaster missing but clean. Restaurant doesn’t open until 9 if even then. Dirt roads. Cools to beach.

The place was well maintained for its age. Staff was friendly and house keeping did a good job. The surprising thing was the restaurant bar was an American Legion Post 15. Service was exceptional but they only take cash no credit cards. Dollars or pesos accepted.

I loved the front desk staff, my husband’s truck broke down and the guy at the front desk went above and beyond to help us, I forgot to ask his name but he worked the morning shift on 06/21/25 The lady who checked us in was very friendly too.
