"Barcelo is such an amazing place to stay. Everything from rooms to food and service is 100 percent on point and more. This is the best place I've stayed at so far. They have everything to deliver a wonderful vacation time to customers. The beach is beautiful in this area. I'll definitely be back as much as I can. Barcelo is such a paradise. "Excellent value for the price- it is right above the industrial ac units of the place next door- but quite frankly, it became white noise in the background and for the price, we got over it pretty quick- and would absolutly stay here again. a beaches, little market right onsite with all the basics- the restaurant onsite is decent- a hidden gem for the frugal crowd for sure… "

"We had a really great stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel. The location is excellent—just over a very walkable bridge to Zona Romántica, which made it easy to explore while still enjoying a slightly quieter setting. The staff truly stood out: warm, friendly, and always going out of their way to help with anything we needed. The cooked-to-order breakfasts were another highlight—fresh, delicious, and a perfect way to start the day. Our room had a beautiful view over Centro, including the iconic church, which added a special touch to the experience. All in all, a fantastic stay in a great location with exceptional service."

"Second time staying here, mostly because it's economical. The location is great to walk to many things we love. The rooftop pool area is lovely with great views. The suites are spacious. That said, the beds are hard and the pillows are lumpy. The slatted windows do nothing to dampen the echoing sounds from constantly disrupting your rest. Last time we had an external room with street noise, and this time an internal room with our neighbors playing loud music and talking until about 1 am without intervention from the staff. Didn't have soap when we checked in. Cleaning staff didn't bring any until we asked. Checkout felt like an extra process, holding up our cab. Will likely not stay again."

"Nice property, good location but very loud at night. Room is modern and spacious. They do provide excellent earplugs! The restaurant has one table, no window or maybe a tiny one. The food is cooked on a regular kitchen counter in the room. I chose to breakfast on the malecon. Nice terrace, excellent staff"
