Smiles from the wife (read/take in the rays/sun), Smiles from the dog (walks/room to run). Heck even dad was caught smiling (coffee/and a view, eve on the dock w a brew)….”

“Very cute a-frame in pleasant neighborhood, home is totally private as it is surrounded by beautiful trees and shrubs. Home is very clean and well organized, lots of amenities and I loved that there was no tv though the boys grumbled a little at first (they ended the trip saying it was nice to not have the tv)! Super quick drive to Maxwelton beach. Host is very attentive and kind. Would highly recommend this property if you’re staying on Whidby!”

“What a beautiful, thoughtfully constructed cabin! It had all the amenities you could want. Lots of great information about the area. We had thought it would be a little closer to the beach but the walk really wasn’t too bad. The road noise was a bit irritating when you hanging out outside but didn’t affect our sleep. Thanks for sharing your cabin!”

“Cute little place. Provided a keurig but only had tea. No big deal just noting. Bathroom lighting is not great. Heating is hot as hades or cold. Hard to find happy medium with baseboard heat but to be expected. If you’re parking an SUV, plan to finagle your way out. Overall, I was happy with this unit.”

“The house was in a beautiful location and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The ad gives the impression that the house is a beach front property but the beach is shared with other houses on the street. Everyone in the neighborhood was welcoming and nice. It was great to have a fenced in yard for the dogs, no holes or ways to escape. I gave four stars for cleanliness because everything at eye level and below was clean but there was a lot of cobwebs and dust in higher surfaces. It……

“A nice quiet place by the water! I was in the area for a rehab seminar by myself and it was a nice quiet place to relax. Easily one of the best places to have a cup of coffee and watch the wildlife on the water! The down the grassy trail to the steps can be a little sketchy in a downpour but it’s otherwise worth it! ”

“My husband and I stayed here for a week for our anniversary and it was beyond what we could have imagined! If you want a image of what the house was like, just picture your grandma’s house in the woods! The house could use updated decor; but the vibe matched the Gig Harbor atmosphere very well! There was plenty to do, from kayaking to picking fresh oysters and even otter watching and deer walking right up to the deck! The town of Gig Harbor also offered modern conveniences such as Target and……

“Loved the convenience of having the dishwasher, microwave, etc! Unfortunately, the shower drain was clogged that within 2 minutes of your shower you were standing in a couple inches of water. Other than that very clean room, building and comfy bed. Shout out to the sound machine, without that it was so quiet in the room/building I couldn’t fall asleep. Would definitely stay again and look for Sonder in the next city we visit! ”

“It was a really sweet area, perfect walking distance from some good lunch spots, beautiful gardened neighborhood. It was quiet, the other guests were hardly seen and never heard. Host was very organized and communicative. Check in was super easy and secure. Bed was very comfortable! Thank you 😌”
