"The hotel is beautiful, with lots of places to sit and relax, lovely gardens and an excellent swimming pool. There were always pool chairs available and poolside service for drinks. The food in the buffet and at the a-la-cartes was excellent. You will never go hungry here, there is always something delicious to eat. The beach is well maintained and the attendant is quick to bring you a lounge chair, they could do with a few more umbrellas at the beach. The staff are friendly and professional. Our favourite place was the sunset bar overlooking the ocean. The view is stunning at any time of day and especially just after the sun has set. We will definitely be back to Iberostar Playa Mita. "

"The whole resort was kept clean. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Food choices were good. Loved the entertainment staff especially Rocio. Our favorite server in the lobby bar/restaurant was Elizabeth ."

"This was our second time staying at this resort in the Family Selection with a large group and lots of kids, and both visits were excellent. A huge part of that is thanks to Josue, who truly went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The Nest is fantastic, and Carlos at the pool was an absolute joy every single day—his energy and care made our experience exceptional. The pool bar bartenders were also consistently fantastic. We will absolutely be back, largely because of the outstanding service from Josue, Carlos, and the incredible bar team."

"This location is prime for surfers and the beach is not overly busy. The property is very clean, food is good and it was nice to find little spots to hideaway from the kids for a coffee/break. Very well designed though a massive property (prepare to get your steps in). Our room was near/over one of the outdoor restaurants so we were woken to dragging furniture at 5am. other than that it was a great resort!"
